eviebee: Is it possible to think without language? To articulate thoughts without using symbols, words, certain gestures? Is "unsymbolized thinking" really possible?

LotusFlowerMind: Haha that's like I am having it in my mind but I don't know how to say it. Maybe the emotion represent a thought without any other symbol or a word, who knows

eviebee: Aye maybe! I feel I have also experienced the arrival at conclusions using unsymbolized thinking, but it's hard to judge whether it was truly unsymbolized or if i'd done it so quickly I hadn't noticed use of images to get there. Super interesting if you start thinking about it though - literally

eviebee to Charles Darwin: Convo moved on too fast for me to drop this in too: http://www.britishmuseum.org/research/collection_online/collection_object_details.aspx?objectId=1362906&partId=1

It's in the BM here in London...and pretty haunting (always swing by and see it). What really fascinates me is how close the eye holes are.

Charles Darwin: That...is incredible.. I would have loved to be able to see whoever made that and used it in their natural habitat, doing their thing.
