easternpoet: Hi, again Im sorry if not sure where to write this info, but I'm unfamiliar with this site and how to post information, yesterday but am not sure if it went through and if so, Im Kim, Dave's sister I just wanted to say there is still no change on his condition, I was told we his family half to make some decisions if things dont change, with him in a non responsive state they can not to emergency dialysis Im told anyway if there is anyone needs me they can email me ima_crafty_lady@hotmail.com cause its hard for me to come on here at this time, thank you again if this reach's anyone. easternpoet: To Whom may be a friend of easternpoet, I (his sister) found his computer and found out he loved coming to this site and tried to make a few friends and if any happen to read this, I and his family ask that you send a simple Get Well message in the air for the Lord above us takes it to him, for you who did not know Sunday evening he suffered a severe heart attack as well a stroke causing his latest kidney,heart transplants to reject. That has caused him to go in a comma, as of Monday there is no news on his condition other than his vitals are stable but going to need another heart transplant at the least, I can go on, but I shall not cause I'm not sure who reads this or if he has many friends, and all I ask and something Dave believed in was Organ donation so please sign your organ donor card, and I hope my brother comes through he always brought a smile to my face and sure if you gave him a chance he make you smile. Ill try to log back on if there is any change as-well. He told me of one friend on here named Gift I think Im sorry If Im wrong, but to you Gift he always wanted you to be brave and to remember a shadow is nothing to be scared of its just someone looking out for you,aswell as Dave tells everyone Dont be ashamed to cry your just watering your Dreams. So please take care everyone TYou.

And precious ones who'll support you
and whose caring will not stop.

A few friends will stand by you
through everything in life.
Other ones will run away
at the slightest sign of strife.

With some you share a secret
and they tell it to another.
But one or two deep down inside
feel like a sister or brother.

I've seen friends having friend's backs
right from the very start.
I've seen others who could care less
if they break a bleeding heart.

Some will always be there
from the cradle to the hearse.
Others will walk away from you
with a softly spoken curse.

A few may turn upon you
and drive you to your knees.
You never really knew those friends
and now they're enemies.

But some will know you inside out
and still watch you grow old.
Those friends my friends are
the ones worth their weight in gold!

Let me dream of leprechauns
and many other things,
of unicorns and castles,
of heroes and of kings.

Let me dream of dragons
with burning, fiery breath.
But let them roast my hotdogs
and never cause my death.

Let me dream of fairies,
of hobbits and of elves.
Throw in a few pots of gold
there sitting on my shelves.

Let me dream of giants
but let them all be good.
I'll climb on up and visit them
just like I know I should.

Let me dream of warriors
who never fight a war.
They play soccer all the day
not keeping any score.

The crows call.
They are messengers
announcing the tide of change
in men's hearts.

They call us to the opening
in present sky
that invites us
to walk through
into another world
—where they have flown and visited
and now have returned to bring their call of peace.

There are thin veils that are lifting,
everywhere,
within our world.
Windows, doorways, are opening,
much like the one that crow flew through.

These are chambers to our awakening,
to possibilities within the human heart
to know peace and to come to know
the realm within,
that is of that other world
where the only truth
is love—period.

easternpoet: My Guardian Angel

My world was black,
full of dark clouds and rain.
My heart was so empty,
full of anger and pain.

I walked all alone,
growing lost and confused.
I cried deep inside,
feeling worthless and used.

My footsteps grew silent,
but echoed inside.
My breathing was slowing,
I was starting to die.

The rain was so cold,
cutting through me like knives.
My vision was blurring,
I was starting to cry.

I took one more step,
then collapsed to the ground.
I could no longer move,
I could not make a sound.

My eyelids grew heavy,
I was losing my sight.
But off in the distance,
I saw a small light.

The light became brighter,
the closer it came.
It was a beautiful woman,
I was going insane.

She knelt down beside me,
with tears in her eyes.
She flashed a small smile,
and started to cry.

She bent down and whispered,
right next to my ear.
Please don't give up,
let go of your fear.

She put a small hand,
right next to my heart.
My pain slowly faded,
it was no longer dark.

I could make out her face,
as my vision was cleared.
She looked so familiar,
as she wiped away tears.

I asked her her name,
and I asked why she cared.
She simply just smiled,
and sat there and stared.

I was always your friend,
and now i'm like you.
An outcasted fool,
who hadn't a clue.

The rain had stopped falling,
as she helped me to stand.
And we walked away smiling,
best friends, hand in hand...

easternpoet to gift_from_above: The Sun Of Love.............The sun, that is our essence, is the center of God inside of us. It is always shining, it feeds our growth, and its cascading light moves through every level of our being. It soothes us with its presence and love.

The sun of light is who we are, and this truth can never be forgotten or eroded. Just as the planets and stars align their trajectory to the sun's presence, all that we are—on the outer circles of our existence and being—moves in alignment with the sun of our true presence. Such a presence is the light of our soul and spirit, which is a part of the one Spirit of All.

We only need to turn our face to the light, and allow its warmth and love to fill our day, our consciousness, and our lives. Then, we become as children living through our joy and playfulness, as we feel safe, happy, and secure under the protective and ever-loving presence of God's light. God's presence is always here, as it exists inside of us; this is Great Spirit's gift to us—it is His/Her promise that is given to us in every day:

"I am here, I am love, the only love that you could ever need, and my nourishment of truth and light feeds every level of your being and life. I am present, even when the clouds obscure your vision and truth of Me. I am eternal, and always present inside of your heart, so you can never be lost or forgotten. You simply need to turn your heart towards the sun, and allow Me to fill you with the promise of a new day."
