As to why

Why humans do
Inhuman things
When dark sides
...misbehave.
My thoughts were left
...on paper
...in a jar
I'd left beside her stone;
You'd think a conscience
Somewhere in you
...would leave
This holy place alone.

I don't frequent
This whispered place
Where angels
Keep their dead;
Five minutes here
...a special day,
Is the deal I make instead.
Those words I wrote
In privacy
I felt compelled to write;
But larceny
Attacked my torch
When darkness doused my light.
