Waiting patiently

I am patiently waiting for the one for me. I'm in an on and off relationship with this guy. He claims he loves me dearly, and don't want to live his life without me. But when we used to talk about marriage he claims he wants it. He told me to go do everything and prepare for. I didn't though because I neer gotten a ring or propsal. I was waiting for one or the other that I just mention. We never set a date either. I was just asking him if we were ever going to do it. If so, when would be the best time. We was together for almost eight years. I seen we were getting no where. Our plans didn't include each other. Now when I bring up the conversation he claims marriage is over rated. And no one does it because they "really love" each other, there are always other reasons. now I don't thinkI can sit and wait for him to make his move, or one of us to have a life threatening situation. I'm in no hurry to get married to anyone now. I am just patiently waiting for my love to feel that love that it used to. you know that love that when, they go to work, you are just planning on them to arrive at the door, so you can show how much you appreciate them. That kind of love where you can go out in public and no worry about who looking at us, and what they have to say about the way we look together. That kind of love that you want tojust set your heart free, and so I wait patiently!
