I know you won’t see this
Or open another card
Three years have passed
And Mother’s Day are hard

I can still see your smile
Or jump in the car
And drive
For miles

I still remember how it used to be
The things you used to cook
And the places
We used to see

I know it wasn’t your choice
You didn’t have a say
God called you in April
And took you away

On this Mother’s Day
I try and stay brave
When I visit
Your grave
