in my younger years I was in a martial arts all through the 80s had my own karate studio my favorite classes was Wednesday night women's self-defense and Saturday afternoons kids class my claim to fame during that era of my life was being the North American champion in my division in 1987 had to retire shortly after that due to some work injuries that wouldn't let me train right or compete any longer
