First attept at poetry in years

Let go my weary mind
Darkness of heavy thoughts ,blinding
Feelings weigh down my heart
Struggling to stay afloat
In this deep pool of sorrow
Please, I beg for a light to follow
Illuminate a path
For there are too many to wander
Like streets without lamps
My mind endlessly wonders
I put my faith in you
Ready to let go
To let you take over
To follow you is to follow the light
With my own eyes, I can not see
But taking your hand my heart knows this path is right
Where I will end up, I do not know
But with my heart and soul I know your way is the way to go
