When I moved thehey told me that the ducks never came back.  MontanaMatt: Ducks will always come back to the same place to breed.......unless they perceive a continuous threat. It's been proven over hundreds of years. They are remarkably easy to pattern....and that's not always a good thing for them. But the numbers are at another high....now 7 years in a row....so they continue to thrive!  SunshineDeb: each year I have ducks who come check out my yard a few times during the season but there are dogs on 2 neighbor's yards, so I'm assuming that could be why they don't stay anymore. chero, I think it's cool you had that ramp for them at the pool!! now that is so sweet! |
