I hope all of you the best of 2023. (Post deleted by staff ) Today will start a slow renovation of the 99 Jeep Cherokee XJ Sport. At 269,000 miles and 23 years old, my pride and joy is getting tired and some parts are wearing out. The radiator/condenser electric cooling fan as seen better days, the motor bearing wearing out. A new replacement was installed today.     My favorite pic with my two Jeep Cherokee XJ Sports. The 99 on the left and the 95 on the right. Now one of my friends on Wireclub.com added this sketch.   Sitting by myself at this great family owned country restaurant. This quaint place was one of the first eateries I discovered since relocating to this town last year. I am now a frequent patron. The owner and staff are like my second family to me since I live her alone. Over the past several months I visit thrift stores in the area and occasionally find small treasures. Except for the first signs displays the others I have found, donated, and now displayed on several walls in this establishment, my contribution to them. For all my friends who have commented on the tragedy and near loss of my son a week ago, I thank you with all my heart. He is still bruised and shaken, but he is fine at this time. Today I received word that my one and only son was involved in an car accident when he was driving home late at night. Kurt was rounding a sharp turn on a country road when he crashed into a large oak tree lying in the middle of the road. One branch went through the windshield, just barely missing him. I thank God my son is alight and well. Please, hug your child(children) and tell them you love them.     View all 11 posts (Post deleted by staff ) Here it is a beautiful Sunday morning in Florida. The temperature is warm and the sun is shining. Here I set at a computer doing nothing. I have no motivation. I am not even motivated to get motivated. I think I need to get motivated to get off my butt and do something constructive. I was outside mowing the yard and looked in the shrubbery next to the house in Grand Haven. The house I rented was in the middle of town. This is what I saw. I will take the time and opportunity to wish all my friends and acquaintances a Happy Easter on this special day of the year. May all of you be safe this day and in the days to come.
