Corwin: I lived in Northern Alberta when I was little. I remember how odd it was in the Summer, getting tucked into bed when the Sun still shines until 10:30 pm, and in the Winter walking home from Kindergarten in the dark at 3:00 pm. I also remember a Winter so cold that you could spit and it would freeze before it hit the sidewalk. But we lived where the Western horizon was painted with the Rocky Mountains, blue with distance and yet so large that they seemed deceptively close... breathtaking.
ChaCha8: Well, it's noon and I am 99% packed and loaded. Just waiting for my clothes to dry and then I can finish up and my computer will be the last thing to be loaded. I am excited! Good thing I have a vast array of winter coats lol!
