Pull me beneath, unearth the need.
Drowning below, heavy and slow.
Release your grip, watch me slip.
Leave me here, buried in my fear.

Never ending, no pretending.
Show me light, I won't fight.
Unspoken words, give to the earth.
Let fire come, burned and undone.

Pace yourself, relieve your guilt.
Let me take it, always full tilt.
Relinquish your fear, I'll keep it here.
Beneath the skin, the darkness seeps in.
