BugHug: It is October and, as much as we love Hallowe'en, we also know we have 3 black (two with white) cats who like to go out in our yard (Sam may go beyond, no stopping that boy) so we will be keeping them inside that night. Anyone who has a black or black/mix cat please keep them inside on Hallowe'en. I won't go into detail as to what could happen - just don't let it happen to your kitty.
BugHug in reply to Corwin: No not just a BC thing. I'm not sure if it's world-wide since I don't know how many countries celebrate Hallowe'en but black cats are definitely in danger that night. Kids and fireworks mostly
I've never heard of black cats being in danger on Halloween.
Kids can be such little monsters.
