BugHug: Mark installed a microchip-operated cat door shortly after we moved in. It's been working great until recently. Over the past week or so I have noticed the door will lock the boys in at random times. It's a "curfew" function you can use to set a time where, once they come in for the night, they're in until the curfew is off. We never purposely set this but I just realized we must have done something and now I have no idea when they're locked in until they sit and wait or cry to be let out. We'll figure it out, I'm sure, but in the meantime It's kind of fun to play with THEIR heads for once lol!
