BugHug: This was literally posted for FREE on a local marketplace site for 25 minutes before I saw it and responded that we could come and get right away. He said you better hurry because 10 other people are interested. Thank goodness the guy only lives a 5 minute drive away as when Mark and Trevor showed up, 35 people were on their way lol! Mark is very mechanical so any repairs won't be difficult. Gotta love the price!
BugHug: It's a Craftsman 12.5 HP 38" deck. Will be perfect for our huge yard, and will get a custom made blade from his buddy to do snow removal from our driveway in the winter.
BugHug in reply to MontanaMatt: Exactly what Trevor said lol! Mark agrees of course. I think he's a little sad his hot rod wasn't the first engine he would be working on in the new shop though lol!
Thosny: Okay that was a lousy answer. Technically this all started with a fellow named James Watt who basically measured the production of what a horse would accomplish with a 12-ft grinding wheel that required a certain amount of force to move.... All within a certain amount of time. That's one horsepower.
That's how the term wattage came about. Then of course that power can be measured from different areas. In a two-stroke motor the horsepower is measured at the end of the shaft in what we call torque power.

Aren't you glad you asked?
