"The world expects the pose
Perfectly natural... loosen up!
Smearing wet concrete
And swearing you'll never be caught
At your weakest, etched in stone
And we're frozen here, peeking...
Almost... sweet talk... CAFFEINE!"

BoredCollective: It came as a shock when I knew it was time to let go of what I thought I knew as religion.

'God' and 'Truth' as concepts are nearly synonymous to me. Faith is important.

I want to throw that Bible at the people who got me into it. They're going to get us killed if we don't watch it.

BoredCollective: So. It becomes apparent now why God would want to overturn our guilty verdicts by virtue of faith alone in Christ alone on our part.

The devil is hard at work with us well before we even know right from wrong, from the cradle.

God needs us to acknowledge that we need his help on his terms.

"We'd have a Codex match in my house before I'd let that happen. They'd have to pry the keyboard from my cold, lifeless fingers and accept casualties."
"So it is with sin. It is like handing your opponent's team your controller."

...Why? Hm.

She doesn't feel pretty enough for me, which is interesting, considering that it is her non-physical attributes that tend to prompt me to steer clear.

That was God. Had to be.

I found myself one night aching to see him in person, to be validated, a real... Dad. I didn't care that he would turn me to ash on the spot just by proximity so much because at least I would be with a real friend who actually loves me, like whatever would happen would be OK as long as God was near me.

I'd prefer him destroying all of me with his glory than rejecting me. Ironic - he has to keep distance because he does not want to hurt us!

BoredCollective: Satanists believe that if they have control over the things of God then they must themselves be God. "You are what you eat", they say, all the while taking through subversion and manipulation what rightfully belongs to the creator. Corruption of innocence, molestation, has a bit to do with it.

My grandmother Sharlene knows this.
