bluelilbegonia: hey, y'all!! vote for my distillery! we're currently #1 with 17 days to go!
bluelilbegonia: i long to shoot loud children with a nerf fucking cannon because tasering them would be too satisfying.
bluelilbegonia: The floating dock (left) is higher than the fixed dock (right). High tide is hiiiiiiiiiigh!
bluelilbegonia: Just wanted to share some awesome news. I got hired at a brand new distillery downtown. I will be a tasting guide and retail for the gift shop. Hyper local, ground floor, and right on the main drag downtown across from the Castillo!
bluelilbegonia: Pre storm update: the eastward bearing track is making me feel better and better. We stowed most of our topside stuff, and lashed the sail cover and sail tight to the boom. (Since we have no power propulsion we didn't want to take the sail completely down.) I also paddled over to the (now dead) neighbor's boat and stowed all the canvas and tarpage he had going on, as well as secured his hatches and companionway the best i could. We're watching the forecasts and models carefully. Depending on wind speed, we have yet to determine if we'll be aboard or ashore, but it's too early to make that call.
hagenduz: It's certainly taking it's time and making a lot of people uneasy. You certainly don't want to evacuate if you don't have to, and or move to a place that may be worse off than you are now depending on the track.
