Yet silence and ignorance can literally be lethal for me! I had a couple of extremely rare conditions. One is call IgM Deficiency, the other is C8b deficiency. Both are extremely rare and only affect 0.03% of the population. My Doc, has never had a patient before me with it, he frequently has to reach out to other docs who have had experience with it for help in treating me. I have done posts about c8b deficiency, done posts asking people to donate blood, because I, and way to many other like me, are dependent upon either the plasma, or blood itself to be able to survive! I do not give a rats arse who does not like my posts! Being Silent and Secretive , can literally be lethal for me. I do not have a functioning immune system! Normally we all have what is called a Membrane Attack Complex ( Mac ) Sequence. It's where when the body begins to pick up it has a " foreign" body in the system, It starts the production of 4 proteins, they then are supposed to line up and merge, once merged they become a powerhouse, they travel the body until they find the "foreign entity " and attach to it, at which point they release a chemical signature, which tells the other MAC Sequences where to go, they join the part at the Foreign Host, and then they all begin to bore holes into it, Killing it ( Our bodies are simply amazing!!) Except in my case, when it gets to protein c8b, it has a nonsense stop codon, and it shuts the entire process down. I do not have a immune system. Because of that, I do not make normal antibodies IgM, when I become infected with something. I literally am dependent upon blood plasma of what I cannot make on my own!! I refuse to remain silent and put myself in jeopardy to preserve another persons comfort!! No one has a right to ask someone to silence themselves, because they can't stomach the ugly truth which is that persons life!!! It's amazing the audacity of some. I had childhood trauma but never like this. I would retaliate and create more problems. U can forgive and move on but u can never forget. So that makes trying to forgive irrelevant because you can't move forward. U choose your path with the pain and only hope to strive. Xxx |
