 Friends         | I moved from California to Ohio in June. I am a freshman in college and love to read and write. You'll find me most of the time sitting in bed with a hot cup of tea and a good book in my lap. I own a Bengal Savannah mix named Prada, a Great Dane called Duke, and a Doberman named Rex. I don't if many of you know what has all gone down in my family in the past few years... but it has been a lot. And tonight has made everything come crashing back. My father was sent to the hospital earlier this evening. He had a heart attack on his way home to surprise me with dinner. You see, my father and I don't have very much time to spend together, and we never have dinners together... I mean never. So tonight was suppose to be a special night, but instead I got a nerve wracking phone call saying that my father was in the hospital. He's in critical condition, in the mend. But the whole point of this wasn't to get you to feel bad for me. It was to appreciate those who are there for you. The people who are in your life now, may not always be there. So love them no matter how hard it is sometimes, and show them that you care. Because someday, they may not be there with you anymore.
