So all in all, after high school at age 18, it can take 11-14 years to become a licensed doctor in the US. 4 years ago • Reply • Report 0 Karen33405: An undergraduate degree in the U.S. can be an Associates Degree (2 yrs) or a Bachelors Degree (4 yrs). So, it's conceivable to get an associates degree in 1 year if you increase the number of classes a semester and also go to summer school. It depends on how many classes you take. Its normal to do 6 per year.
