Lolol. (Yes still preserved in full mint tact condition). found lamb: The original album was supposed to have Brian's three masterpiece's on it - Heroes and Villains, Surf's Up and Good Vibrations. Brian got messed up from LSD during 1967 and had a melt down. Surf's Up didn't get finished and they released the Smile album as Smiley Smile leaving Surf's Up off it. So Smiley Smile had only two good songs on it - Heroes and Villains and Good Vibrations. The rest of the album is garbage. The Smile album ace is holding is Brian's attempt to put the original album back together. But still, most of the album is garbage except for Heroes and Villains and Good Vibrations. Good Vibrations just happens to be the greatest song of all time. No competition. Hands down the best song of all time. Brian knew that. It came out as a single at the very end of 1966. It was really Brian's last masterpiece. He has had mental problems ever since with periods of lucidity. Brian, of course, has written songs since 1966. Some very good. But nothing that comes close to his heyday 1962-1966. If you want to know anything about the Beach Boys ask me. I started buying Beach Boys singles in 1963 when I was 6 years old and have been a big fan ever since! found lamb: Actually, the Smile album, as Brian wanted it, only has 2 good songs on it - Heroes and Villains and Surfs Up. Good Vibrations, which was on Smiley Smile, wasn't supposed to be on it and Brian was happy to leave it just as a stand alone single. This makes the Smile album even worse. A album with just 2 good songs. Surfs Up finally appeared on the Surf's Up album in 1971. A pretty good album much better than Smile. |
