I think men are captivating creatures, and though most men have the ability to fascinate me, I would prefer chatting with men over 40.........Please don't get into chat of a sexual nature within moments of PMing me, I find that highly disrespectful! Try to get to know me....
A Meeskite: I spent the weekend in New Hope, stayed at the Wedgewood Inn, a lovely B & B in town. It was a wonderful getaway, and I really needed it.

A Meeskite: When you decide to visit New Hope, take a little side trip west a few miles to Lahaska, and visit Peddler's Village. There are shops and restaurants there, the landscaping is lush amidst cobblestone walkways. Please google it, as I am not doing it justice by my description.... and check it out. You will love it, guaranteed!
A Meeskite: Update: We followed up with Jeremy's gastro doctor and he has Crohns, which I know, from experience, is nasty. He was placed on 80 mgs of prednisone for 2 weeks, then 40 for 2 weeks then 20 for 2 weeks, 10, and 5....tapering down. This dosage is as severe as is used for gout, I was told. I feel bad for Jeremy, prednisone is effective as a steroid and anti-inflammatory, but the side effects for me were terrible. He will see Jeremy again at the beginning of August to see if the Crohns has calmed down some.... poor kid!!

A Meeskite: I had an amazing experience with Yankee Candle online that I'd like to share:
I called them and told them that a Scenterpiece (an electric base that melts scented wax) that I purchased for a friend was not working properly. I had purchased it on sale for $17.50 and was hoping to receive a discount on a replacement unit which was more expensive at $40.00. The customer service agent put me on hold for a few moments and informed me that they would be sending the second Scenterpiece FREE OF CHARGE to my utter astonishment! This is the kind of company Yankee Candle is, who live by their guarantee that you will love your purchase from them. I encourage everyone to check them out, I'm a believer. :-)

attydallas3: I learned the hard (and almost fatal ) way once never to put liquid scents in those units that use melted wax cubes for fragrance. When I first moved into my new apt., I had two friends help move things and get it ready. As I was taking a nap, one of them ran across a bottle of liquid scent I had used with an old unit that was designed to use same. For some reason she thought she could pour some of it into the little "dish" that holds the melted wax cubes on my newer unit. She turned on the warmer bulb, and then they both left for the night while I was still sleeping. I woke up briefly during the night several times, smelling a very strange smell. It soon got almost overpowering, and difficult to breathe. I finally got up and found out what had happened with the liquid scent, turned the warmer off, and opened all the outside doors to air out the place. I was lucky that the heated liquid scent also did not catch fire. Very close call -- don't EVER use liquid scent in those wax units! &:-) Paul
A Meeskite: Off to the Bucks County Playhouse to see Dial M For Murder tonight... should be fun.
Have a great evening!!
A Meeskite: My godson, Jeremy, went to a cardiologist today and had a slightly irregular ekg so he is having 2 diagnostic tests done: an echo cardiogram with doppler and color flow and a non nuclear exercise stress test. The doctor is just being cautious because both sides of his family have strong histories of cardiac issues. Just a reminder to everyone to please have your heart checked out before any problems arise.
