Chatroom ban ThreadWithAmbition: I have a friend with whom I play Wordy. He was recently banned from the room (and chat) with no reason given. He's not a rude person in the room, if he says anything at all. Why the ban?  bigleftypitcher: i know they ban some for "parking", but its basically up to the room owner and the room mod's. there is almost no recourse either and its at the whimsy of those with the power. bigleftypitcher: its definitely not fair at all. and unfortunately that power is needed to weed out scammers and creeps too, but some mods take it too far too. many a room has been created from the banning problem too! ThreadWithAmbition: Can hardly create a second Wordy room, though. Maybe it's time to search elsewhere bigleftypitcher: i didn't think you could get banned from the game rooms and / or the wire owned rooms? i found the game room odds worse than casinos and every time ive played wordy some person that can barely chat coherently can routinely finds 12 letter words! ThreadWithAmbition: He was banned from all rooms for some reason. Yeah. Wordy cheaters abound. As if that will be the most important thing at their funerals. "He was very good at Wordy. Got all the badges." bigleftypitcher: that sounds like one of the wire admin did that, he can contact wire about that and find out whats going on there. i think at my funeral they will say.. he made that face and it stuck like that... ThreadWithAmbition: LOL. Then you'll have proven all mothers correct. He did contact Wire with no response. 🙁  bluee61: I was banned from a chat room. Wasn’t around or given a reason and or done anything to constitute a ban. I’m thinking it was for another user being on my friends list but I was no part of whatever reason. Is this allowed on your site  DoomieMcDoom: if only this were true. Mods will ban you for any and no reason at all. I have even seen them mods have other members gang up on ppl before banning for no reason. But most mods arnt like that, and it is usually the same rude, hateful peeps doing it.Bans only last 4 hours. If you get wrongfully banned, and you liked that room, then start another to compete. you will be surprised how quickly people will leave 1 and join the other especially if the mod is crappy. To all the mods banning people for no reason, go ahead, keep going. you will eventually be surrounded by people just like you.
