Room Hosts of Member-Created Rooms

Hosts in public rooms (rooms with no owner name) are members appointed by Wireclub staff to help maintain a public room to be in good-standing with Wireclub’s rules and terms of service.

Hosts in member-created rooms (rooms with ‘created by username’) are hosts appointed by the creator of that room.

~They are not officially part of the Wireclub staff.

~They are people the room owner deemed fit to help be in charge of a private room.

~They will have the ability to kick (not suspend, not ban) you from the private room temporarily.

~The room owner has the right to kick anyone from their room for any reason. It is their room and their space they’ve chosen to share with others.

~They cannot shut down your account or have you banned.

~Room creators are responsible for the people that they host.

If you see or experience a host in a private room being inappropriate or abusive, then you need to contact the room owner regarding the situation.

If the room owner ignores you, only then should you contact a Wireclub Moderator. ( https://www.wireclub.com/about/team )

calybonos: Who do I contact to receive a building permit to ensure that my room addition meets Canada's minimum safety and structural standards?

The county/borough clerk’s office, or your local city hall.

calybonos: Thanks. I wouldn't want to run afoul of the rules, or at least, not get caught.

For instance...I was thinking about going with shag carpeting because I heard it's deep pile makes it harder for the health inspector to notice the cockroaches.

Instead, only realize the truth... There is no room.
Then you will see that it not the room that is hosted, it is yourself.
