Being Booted from a Room vinoph csb: I was booted from a room when I went there following a friend - it is a public room but I was unaware it was a lesbian room - I received a pm from someone saying that if I ever go back there I will be reported - I am furious that someone would threaten me when there is certainly no basis to do something like that when someone goes to a public room - I would like to talk to a Mod to vent  pegasusbesideme: Geesh Vino! You should have told them you were a lesbian trapped in a man's body! Maybe they would have had mercy on you...  Jakk has Mojo: lol, they can "report" you, for what, exactly? If it's not invite only, anyone can enter, logistically. If they don't wish to have you in there, they can remove you, which is what they did. It's not against Wire TOS...and if they believe you'll "harass" them, they can block you, to keep you from entering period. I was banned from a room too second after I entered...no reason why that I know of. This happened again last night. What I did was friend the owner of the room and then I friended a bunch of their friends. Even if you can't get to the profile, they show pictures of friends that are clickable. So I asked someone who responded why i was booted. He said that they thought I was someone else. So at that point, I didn't care and thanked him for his help. I then deleted him as friend. Crazy! People are so funny with that kind of power. I know what you mean about following friends into rooms. The room descriptions seem very far away from that whole interaction. Rooms should have some way of pinning the description as soon as you enter, so you can see it from any way you happen to enter. Totally see your point, vinoph. My room description clearly states anyone under 40 will be booted. I know most of the Lesbian rooms have in their room descriptions, no men. So read the description before going into a room, to see if you should go in. And I'm not a kid I just don't want to talk to people younger than my kids and grandkids  EmmEffinPrincess: If it makes you feel any better at all, I get booted out of the lesbian rooms also. I am literally a woman married to a literal woman, yet I don't meet their criteria. You're better off not hanging in such a limited space anyway. In real life lesbians aren't all man haters.
