Why can't we hide our location? SnuffMuffin1989: I'm tired of locals coming into chatrooms I'm in to hit on me, or messaging me about trying to go out. This is ridiculous that we can't hide our location, if the site admins know where we are fine, but there is no reason why the masses have any right to know where we are. calybonos: Try and look at it from another perspective. If we don't already know where you're from, how else do you expect us to come up with a totally bullshit line that sounds sincere? By the way, Boston ladies have always been the best at knowing a hot, smooth talking pig when they see one. Michael: https://www.wireclub.com/settings/profile You can change your location here to something else. RoseDragonfly: I totally agree with SnuffMuffin1989. We shouldn't have to disclose our location. I also wish that I could remove "Ask me" as a location. There should be an "Undisclosed" option. I don't want random strangers to ask me where I live. That knowledge should be for friends only, and only if I want to tell them. As it is now the first thing many new people do is ask me where I live, since stupidly my profile tells them to do that since there is no "undisclosed" setting. Many people are not intelligent enough to understand why I haven't put a location. This makes new contact situations rather awkward. |
