I see a LOT of people here on Wireclub using someone else's photos; should they be reported or anything? Is that a TOS violation? Seems so prevalent, it's sad

MrHamster: If a user is using a Picture that belongs to another wire user then that user needs to reach out to a Wire Mod.

citruslounge: Ah, ok... thank you. What if they are using someone's from the 'net? Not really much to be done then I suppose.

MrHamster: This comes down to the legal right to use a picture. i believe wire follows the same rule of thumb other sites do.

We assume that the users using pictures on Wire have permission to use the picture. The owner of the picture can contact Wire and request the removal of the picture.

*note* This is a legal question. This is my best educated guess to how Wire feels regarding this. And, Wire Mods including myself do not work for or speak for Wire on Legal issues.

Either way. This site needs good people reporting when there is something to report.

But, remember. Just because one saids something is agaist the TOS it might not be.

Also, somethings take time to process.
