Robot Seb: There are 5 major browsers you can use with Wireclub. Each one has it's advantages and disadvantages which I will try to cover as much as possible. Feel free to ask questions if you need help with anything browser related here. The list and each browser's ranking was based on the ease of use, browser stability, the size of the application, and how much memory each application uses.

Reviews

1) Mozilla Firefox
- Firefox is in the middle as far as memory usage and ease of use is concerned. It is very stable and has a lot of add ons to help with all kinds of things such as Adblock Plus that helps block advertising. It rarely crashes and is among the most commonly used browsers around.

2) Google Chrome
- Chrome is fast and also has a lot of add ons to help customize it. It is the simplest browser to use as far as the actual interface goes with the least amount of toolbar space & buttons out of all web browsers. Unfortunately, it does take up a lot of memory and you'll need to clear the cache often if you have a computer with 1GB or less of RAM memory.

3) Opera Browser
- Opera has many advanced features even without any add ons, almost to the point of being too complex at times. There are a ton of options to customize everything. It loads objects that are on screen and as you scroll up or down, it will unload those objects which speeds up page load time significantly on pages with a lot of content. It is relatively easy on CPU usage and memory required. Opera is also known for "Opera Mini", the best overall web browser available for most mobile devices.

4) Apple Safari
- Safari is the perfect choice for Apple / Macintosh computers and is also a good browser for Windows platform. Safari can also use Quicktime and a few other plug-ins for media files. It is relatively stable but like chrome, it does eat up a lot of CPU process and also will drain your RAM. There isn't a way to clear your cache in Safari but you can increase the size of the database it uses to store information. Restart the browser if it becomes a little bit slow.

5) Internet Explorer
- IE is a decent browser for many sites and the one that comes built into the Windows platform. Unfortunately it isn't fully compatible with Wireclub and one I don't recommend using with Wireclub. It does work, just not very well due to it's design and complexity that requires more code for it to be a stable browser to use.

How To Download And Install A Web Browser Video Tutorial

In this quick video tutorial, I demonstrate how to copy a link from this help article then downloading and installing Google Chrome but it would work just the same with any browser download link posted above. I also demonstrate how to clear the cache in Google Chrome towards the end of the clip.

Robot Seb: No problem guys, there was a browser tips and reviews thread I made on old wire. I'm not sure what happened to it besides the picture links would have been broken by now. It was time for an update for sure, hopefully it will help answer a lot of questions everyone has regarding what to use in case their regular browser isn't working and also how to clear the browser cache as that can be hard to describe @ times.

Robot Seb: There have been a lot of reports from users on Google Chrome lately. To anyone having issues with Chrome, I highly recommend Mozilla Firefox and/or Opera Web Browsers for the time being. Wireclub is working hard on fixing Chrome and hopefully will be fixed soon. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone.

Robot Seb: Hello Ford! Try clearing your browser's cache / private data / saved preferences / cookies. It's usually stored in your browser to speed up web surfing time by remembering things like login names and passwords but by clearing it, it will remove it.

Robot Seb: Heya Ford! See in this image where the boxes are unchecked ( Picture ) as long as those are checked when you clear it, your old username should be cleared from your browser's saved data. Hopefully that helps.

Yan26: I sometimes access wireclub using a Tor web browser which uses Firefox. Every time I do this I get forced into offline mode and then I cant come back online again. When I use Firefox normally everything works fine. Is there a solution for this?
