User offline in chatroom Giggidy_giggidy: Can someone explain to me why when you go to private chat with someone when they are in a chatroom it says 'user is offline'. If they in the chat room surely that means they are online doesnt it. Robot Seb: Hello Giggidy! Users can choose to appear in one of 3 statuses, "Online", "Away", and "Offline". You can change these settings by clicking "friends & rooms" in the lower right corner and by picking a status: | Online | Away | Offline | Both users have to be set to Online or Away for private chat to work, Offline mode disables private chat. That is not giving privacy to the user that doesn’t want others to know their business…if there is an offline feature that should be giving full privacy outside the rooms unless we are in the same room at the same time |
