Robot Seb: Hi Makadoo! If you haven't received an email from Wire, click "Resend Verification" on your email settings page here ( http://www.wireclub.com/settings/email ) Try checking your email "spam / junk" folders in a few minutes after clicking "resend". Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail all work but at times don't go through right away. Gmail has never had any issues with verification that I'm aware of and the email will appear in your "spam" folder.

Robot Seb: I've just checked Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail services to make sure they are working properly. All 3 worked with no problems. The verification emails appeared the moment I set each email to Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail, saved the email settings, then clicked on "Resend Verification". I received all 3 emails from all 3 services in under 10 seconds.

Some tips for verification (in steps to ensure it works)

1) log into your email service & copy your exact email address
2) log into your wireclub account
3) go to your email settings page here: http://www.wireclub.com/settings/email
4) paste your exact email on the settings page 2 times where it asks for it
5) type in your Wireclub password and then save the email settings
6) click on "Resend Verification" after updating the email
7) go to your email and click open the email Wire just sent you
8) click the verification link in that email

Those were the steps I took to test-verify an account, all 3 times it worked perfectly.

Robot Seb: Hi Donna! I'm guessing it's because you haven't verified your account by email yet. Go to your email settings here ( http://www.wireclub.com/settings/email ) and click "Resend Verification" then check out your email and see if Wireclub sent you an email, just click the link in it and you're all set.

SnoValley: Seb, why do we have to vertify e-mail?

Robot Seb
Robot Seb: Verifying email is a way to help prevent spam & solicitors as some features of Wire are unavailable until an account is verified. It also helps to ensure that an account is secure because it's used for things like when someone requests a password because they forgot theirs. It's more or less for added safety.
