Rules Of WireClub  RUBY: 1. No spamming. This can be defined in many ways. It can be done in the sense of 'flooding' or sending lines and lines of gibberish. It can be defined as posting the same announcement over and over with no change or input into the room. Even posting 'Hi, does any one wish to join my room?' every 5min can be considered spamming. Continuing to talk while muted so all that is posted is a series of 'mmmm' can be considered spamming. You can be kicked without warning or muted based on the mod's discretion. 2. No underage users. If you find any, please report them to a mod or other staff. Minors are not allowed and will be kicked instantly. 3. Senseless conflict is not smiled upon. I know this is an adult site and we are all adults here. A quarrel between people is fine until it goes on too long, gets out of hand, or steps up in intensity. Your best bet take it to PM. If someone attacks you for no reason, you should not fire insults back but block them instead. If you get into it as well, you both may be kicked. If both continue the fight, you both will be kicked. If one party stops and the other continues, the the continuing party will be kicked. 4. No links aside from wikipedia, youtube, or wireclub. Posting any other link will constiture an instant kick. 5. No posting emails. This also includes phone numbers, contact info to Skype, Myspace, or Facebook. Post them in PM please. Posting any of this information in the room constitutes an instant kick. 6. No advertising or solicitation of any kind...Instant kick. 7. No overtly s*xual announcements or chatter. If you want to do it in PM, go ahead, but do not tell the room that you are looking for s*x and you want someone to f**k. You will be asked to move it to the sexy room. No racism, prejudism, or sexism. This is pretty wide. If you are calling down another group of people, it falls in here. Referring to another culture b/c your country is at war with them and thus you feel the need to call them down, that is the same thing. Even dropping the N-word b/c it is a part of your colloquial speech counts too. No warning, instant kick, and possible ban from the website. RUBY: 9. No stalking. If someone turns you down for a PM, that is their right to do so. Do not hounding them for one. Do not continue telling your undying love for them long after they have rejected you. You will be asked to stop once before you're kicked. 10. No use of a foreign language in the rooms (even the International Meeting Place). This is an English website so please move all foreign chatter to PM or a private room. There will be a room-wide warning and then further foreign chatters will be mutes and then kicked. Do not use a foreign language in your userroom name either - that goes in the room, not in the room title. 11. No language. This is discretionary with each mod. Language still happens, but a pure disregard of chat filters is not acceptable. No foul language in your userroom titles either. We are not all sailors here, no need to have a mouth like one. 12. If you have been kicked, then returning under another name constitutes a green-light to be instantly kicked. You were kicked for a reason. This does not give you the right to return as another ID. 13. Do not have a suggestive or outright pornographic photo in your profile. Do not use pictures of other members or celebrities. Do not use pictures of children as your profile picture even if they are your own. Breaking any of these guidelines will result in your being immediately kicked and possibly banned. 14. Do not harass another user or group of users. This will constitute a warning and then suspension. eBullying is not tolerated here. 15. No attacking mods. Instant kick. 16. Wireclub isn't a democracy. The rules are made by the site owners. Also adding voice clips to translate english/spanish or pronunciation requests. My questions are: -Will this apply to teaching a language in a forum thread? (phrases placed in spanish with their english meanings) -Will this apply to voice clips in another language? LesterBurnham: Concerning rule #4: Why do other sites create a link in chatrooms then? Links from Reddit, Facebook, and imgur all create a clickable link when pasted in a chat room. Does this rule need to be updated? Or is the software behind the times?
