Sonnen Won all 5 rounds yes. He put an ass woopin on Silva yes. But did the bell ring? NO! That is when the fight is over. So a tired Sonnen made a mistake cause he relaxed a tiiiiny bit more than he should on a 6"3 black belt BJJ mans guard! And yes Anderson capitalized on that and he took that triangle home lol. As for the Tank Abbot fight. Back then 1) Mir did not have the stand up that he has now. 2) Tank Abbots weakness was the ground. 3) Mir very intelligently pulled guard cause i think he would never take down Tank back then lol 4) Used his flexibility by wrapping his legs(figure 4) on Tanks shoulder while he transitioned his upper body to Tanks foot locking a perfect Kimura that was right there! He totally outclassed him on the ground. As for the 1st Lesnar Fight. Lesnar stood up and he was thinking " what do i have to do to beat this guy? he is moving pretty well on the ground....so that 1-2 second though of his was also a 1-2 second thought for Mir which thought "ok Lesnars upper body is just to HULK for me to grab and submit at this point..what is his weakness? LEGS!!(just study Lesnar"s Frame) And he excellently did his upper body split and he figure-4rd Lesnar"s knee Pulling him down (also Lesnar made it easier for him by jumping cause he tried escaping it) to the floor having a knee bar right there. Less permanent injuries happen in UFC than any other fighting sport so maybe you should do your homework before speaking of things you know nothing about Azimuth_Predator: Ok i think you have no idea what the sport is all about. I consider my self to be an educated man and i look at every subject with great detail before i debate with some1. As for those who train MMA, its their choice and their body. They can take it cause they are warriors who train for physical combat. They love to compete and so do I. They are not killing any one or stealing anything like they do in your country for example(Malaysia). As for the "lion pit" i don"t think i have ever seen anyone eaten alive in the UFC.
