UFC Saturday night..... (Page 2)
Azimuth_Predator: There are 2 Nogueiras. Big Nog is Antonio Rodrigo(HW) and the other one is Antonio Rogerio(LHW). The second one is fighting Tito Ortiz and the first one is Fighting Frank Mir. Both events on UFC 140. So yes you facts were almost perfectly correct. LOL
~LoisLane~: YES you are right now that I just read it again...Its the other Rodrigo dude.....Almost eh lols....
Azimuth_Predator: You know what? You said Antonio Nogueira.. So you might of meant Rogerio. Cause you left that gap on the middle. So this means that i am allowing you to look good on this convo lol
~LoisLane~: I heard it was Antonio Norgueira......When I saw the actual commercial for it , Its antonio rogerio N who he is fighting.....Your "allowing" me to look good are you.....sure buddy. It was a slip of the name , nothing to break your arm over patting yourself on the back, jeez.
(Edited by ~LoisLane~)
Azimuth_Predator: I was actually clapping for my self yaaaaay! Patting on the back is kinda tiring for me lol. And i am soooo sorry for sharing my UFC knowledge with you.
~LoisLane~: Actually you were doing fine until you got a little to big for yourself there.......Charmed.
Azimuth_Predator: Ok fine i will remain small and you can be the big one. Like Wonder woman lol...Also charmed.
~LoisLane~: Dude, it was going all fine until you had to be a typical guy and say something dumb. Just read back what you said......Jeez.
Azimuth_Predator: Ok i know where this is going...I am the bad guy now?
Make me bad from Korn.... i know its random but i love the song. lol
By the way you do have good MMA knowledge. I just like to tease...jeez!
~LoisLane~: Okay......Fair is fair....I normally would have taken that as a joke.....Just not in the joking mood with men and their sarcasm lately.....I shouldnt put you in that catergory cuz you might be a nice guy
I know my knowledge of mma is good.......Hello I wouldnt have had the balls to put a UFC thread if it wasnt........ (thats me teasing you btw) Just sounds all grouchy cuz I am feeling grouchy.....lols
Best Korn song......Them doing *One* at the Metallica Icon show.....If you havent seen it (which I am sure you probably have) check it out....it was sick!!!!
(Edited by ~LoisLane~)
Azimuth_Predator: Yes i have and its not their best lol. Damn it why should i debate with you now cause i am afraid lol.
I think Freak on a leash,Blind,Falling Away from me and Alone i break are the best by far.
Ad i believe that i am a nice guy. Also...i accept any kind of tease from you don"t worry just shoot.
(Edited by Azimuth_Predator)
~LoisLane~: Hahaha no no dont be a afraid , im not always a dick lols .......I dont really like Korn I just thought that was an amazing performance they did....I havent heard that song done that well besides the original.......
Brutal, GSP is out for 10 months cuz of some knee injury......Booooo Hisssssss!
Azimuth_Predator: oh no!!! I wanted to see him vs Nick Diaz!! Damn i cant wait for 10 months. But i have to accept that he is human and that is the nature of the sport.
~LoisLane~: Oh I know eh....10 months is a long time in this sport. Nick Diaz would have been mashed.....imo
Azimuth_Predator: Hmmmmmm....YOu know what? I dont know about that and i will explain why.
1st of all Nick Diaz comes in to fight! There is no avoiding him or keeping distance cause Nick has longer reach than George by the way. And his boxing is sick not to mention his Cardio cause he does triathlon races.
As for the Ground i think George would take it there cause he has better chances. Not the advantage though. this is one of the 50-50 we talked about. Diaz is a black belt under the Gracies so that means a lot.
George is still that explosive and athletic powerhouse at 170 but he has never faced an opponent like Diaz.
he pushes the pace like no other and he can last for a long time. Check out his fights on you tube.
~LoisLane~: Hmmmm You know what!!!!............................
"Diaz comes to fight" <<<------ and what GSP comes to watch Hockey and drink wine? WTF as if hes not a great fighter stand up or take down..... Doesnt mean squat if his stretch is longer....ANd??? .......
Yes it could go either way for sure and if he didnt get his injury I would say...GREAT !!! BUT now with this injury I (imo) dont think he should resume it when he gets better...The fight has been put on hold now twice so I think he should give it up......."Diaz is a black belt under the gracies"........I have two words for you there.......Big and Wup.......Dont doubt that GSP trains hard eh.....
And dont get me wrong I do think Diaz is tough....But I dont like him as a fighter and for SURE I would want GSP to win this one....
I still cant believe he beat Deigo Sanchez.....That one still boggles my mind.......I have seen his fights before Im just not to interested in him.......
Azimuth_Predator: Answer to your first paragraph.
When i say he comes in to fight i mean "in your face type of fighter". GSP is clearly a Strategic fighter. Which is a good thing.
For example. When he fought Jakes shields he wanted to stand up and he did, using distance with that awesome jab of his, so he managed to keep 90% of the fight standing. win via decision.
Gsp vs Koscheck: Distance with that Jab, and take downs at the right time when Josh thought it was a kick boxing match. He dictated that fight at 70% so a win via decision there.
Gsp vs Dan Hardy: GSP took this fight to the ground and kept it there cause he wanted nothing with Dan"s stand up. So he controlled him on the ground at 100%. Win Via Decision
3 good examples of GSP"s versatility.
But Nick Diaz has evolved trumendesly the last 3 years. He just comes in banging with his opponents making it a close distance boxing match and his pushes the pace and he goes on and on. His cardio is sick!! As for the ground he is super flexible and moves really well so Gsp would have to be really careful there. He is awesome on his back and that the first place he is going to be if GSP takes him there. For me its a 55-45 to Diaz. I am really impressed with his performance "GSP voice" lol
behindthewall: i think GSP is too well rounded for Diaz. and he would be able to dictate where the fight happens. i am looking forward to the Diaz vs Condit. i think Condit could be an under dog that surprises everyone!!!
Azimuth_Predator: Gsp is well rounded but so is Diaz. Nick has better stand up and he pushes the pace like no other in that division. As for dictating the fight, yea GSP has the edge there due to his strength and versatility as well. But he will try to stick around Nicks Guard so he can land some shots as he postures up which will earn him points. He wont be able to pass it though. And he cant get comfortable cause Diaz is really good on his back not to mention he is a Gracie black belt. It"s a 50-50 fight.
As for Condit, he is the underdog but Diaz is a beast! We shall see.
