ThatOneChick00: I think he has a MUCH better chance now, that's for sure. Up in Cleavland, he didn't really have any solid support. Sure, they got Shaq, but he can only do so much. Two people don't make a team. I don't think Miami's gonna win right off the jump, although the Celtics did get lucky when they got the "Big 3" they needed. I suppose it all comes down to the rest of the team. A good bench makes a good team.

Mc Lovin: The Miami Heat will most definitely win a championship. Reason: Kenny Hasbrouck. He's the only bench they need. Oh, James, Wade, Bosh, Miller, Ilgauskas, Chalmers, Haslem, Anthony, and Magloire aren't too bad of players either.

Mc Lovin: Lebron and Wade were the ones that wanted to make this happen in the first place. I think their eyes are too set on the ultimate prize to be worried about whose team it is. The only problem that I can possibly foresee that might create some personal conflict is who takes the game winning shot during clutch time. My contention is that we will see both Lebron and Wade taking close to an equal amount of those shots. Better yet, imagine inbounding the ball to Wade, him driving, then passing it off for an alley-oop to Lebron. Crowd goes wild!!!

I hope they win a couple championships!!!!!!!!!!! yaya lebron!

SteelersSux: darn tooting i was ticked& the way he did it too.he could have told the cavs he was not going to resign with them.Instead of making it abig deal,of having a tv special on ESPN to annouce were he was going. To me he thinks he is bigger than the game of basketball. If that's not having a big ego then what is.AGAIN THEY WILL NOT WIN ANY CHAMPIONSHIPS WITH THOSE THREE ON THE SAME TEAM.

ThatOneChick00: I don't think you're seeing it logically because you have a bias against him. This is my generations equivalent to if Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, and Magic Johnson all got on a team together lol. They'll be fine. It might take some fine-tuning, but in the end, they'll be great. I agree, an hour-long special to say something that takes literally 5 seconds was a bit much. But there was so much hype, I'm sure it wasn't LeBron's decision (fully). ESPN probably had more of a hand in making sure that special came to fruition than he did. You saw how much time was spent on purely speculation by the analysts. It was a snoozer, and most people already knew that since Bosh had already made the leap, so was LeBron.

And I'm sure there aren't going to be any ego problems. These guys were on the Olympic team together and they hit it off. They all wanted this to happen, so odds are, they aren't going to act like children now that their plan has worked. LeBron put 7 years of hard work into Cleavland, you should be happy he lasted that long. I can't imagine working my butt off for that long, but not having anything to show for it. Alonzo Morning did the same thing with Miami a few years ago, but nobody gave him this much crap about it. Coaches do it to, but no one seems to mind (Pat Riley comes to mind). Just sayin.

SteelersSux: It does not matter the way he conducted himself was so bad.I'am not saying he is not a great basketball player he is.I just wished he stayed in Cleveland.Micheal,Larry,Majic,Charles all did not like his chose to leave. they would not called each other up and say hey lets come together be on the same team just so they can win a champiohship cause that would have never happen

ThatOneChick00: You know, that's actually a really good point. Magic and Larry especially weren't about to team up together, the rivalry was too much. But I think that's a big difference too. LeBron, Bosh, and Wade actually get along together. I don't see any real strong rivalries between players anymore, which I kinda miss. I think it added some, I dunno, spice to the game. That might be the reason players are moving around a lot more. The only rivalry that comes to mind is Kobe and Paul Pierce (kind of). That, and there aren't a lot of players that stay with their first team very often. Kobe, again, is the only guy I can think of who has, but look where he started. Dirk Nowiski (I know I spelled that wrong lol) and a few rookies have done it too. Big stars have been traded all over the place recently (Shaq, Amare Stoudamire, and now Chris Paul wants out). I guess LeBron saw his chance and he took it, rather than wait for something to happen in Cleavland. Time is of the essence in a profession where your body is your tool. I know he's young still, but I suppose he didn't want to see how long it would take.

But I know what you mean. I guess I can see both sides here.

Bite_Me_: Lebron sucks ass for leaving Cleveland. Miami will never win a championship this coming year. I'm jumping on the band wagon. In this case, Joe Public is right, but it's too bad that we judge him for it. Tell me... as good as Lebron James is... if you were him, would you want the championship that you won to be arguably based on a team that somebody else thought, namely the owner, would make for a championship team as a collective, or would you want to try to win a championship based on your own thoughts about who could be a championship team, trusting in both your abilities as a basketball player, as well as your knowledge about what makes a basketball team successful in the NBA?

Bite_Me_: Obviously, the key elements to my question... (as good as Lebron James is, and if you were him)... two things that 99% of the people will never be able to understand and relate to... are why the lay people/general public will never be able to understand why Lebron made the decision that he made. Personally, I hope the Miami Heat acquire enough players to make the team mesh and surprise every single person that questioned them... and I suspect that, acquisitions aside, they will surprise all those those who doubted them in the first place, regardless of the reasons for such doubt.

Osc: Why else would he of made the decision?... Hes not even getting the money that Cav's offered.. He wants a ring. The way he made the decision is what i had a problem with.. He had an hour show on ESPN all about his decision...(DIVA) Michael Jordan didnt even pull that crap

Bite_Me_: The way he made the decision? Describe thoroughly. How well do you know Lebron James? You don't know the first thing about how he made the decision, aside from what he told the public why he made it. Make all the assumptions you want, you'll never ultimately know "why", as a whole, he made the decision that he made. Lebron James, and God himself, are the only ones that truly know why he made the decision that he made. Don't fool yourself into thinking that you know him... you don't.
