Is tv being viewed less because of streaming and youtube? AretoNyx: Radio, tapes of sorts like vhs, dvds, and so on are being used less in my home. We never use music cds and tapes any more as well. Streaming is often used and mostly the type with having to watch commercials to watch for " free". Though what is the best shows to watch besides controversial topics of politics, religious views, irreligious views, science facts, about sex, and so on? Genres good to view to such without controversial stuff or conspiracy is what I am looking for.  The giant midget: What would you like to be viewed in your home and the homes of your neighbors,your city ,your state . What do you think that everyone should be watching or listening if you were to choose for everyone??? Enlighten us please sardashtym: I am agree with you AretoNyx. It is the new world of technology that changed everything. 20 years ago we had to have a camera, a cd player, a radio, a phone, a calculator, a calendar and so many things to arrange our daily stuffs. But now every things are collected in a small smartphone. You dont need to take CD or DVD and even VHS to watch a movie. You dont need TV to watch news or other programs. Everything is easily at our hands with only a click. But there are hazards in that. Many unwanted stuff comes with Youtube and streams. AretoNyx: Choose for everyone? That isn't possible and a boring idea. I am just looking for variation of something else. AretoNyx: Thanks Sardash. Yes I am curious of what the future holds and how the world changes. It is interesting and amazing. AretoNyx: If people do not want a thing when it comes to communication and media literacy ...one can often choose to walk away and block. It is a choice but some do enjoy the hazards and unwanted stuff other do not want...and if every one didn't then such would not exist at all. To entirely censorship knowing if such doesn't make those things go away, but ignorance is bliss even when knowledge is power...though not everyone can handle knowing or power. Any how wish you all the best. sardashtym: There are a lot of things comes with new technology and we can't easily get rid of it, specially for the people who are not so good at using tech. For example blackmailing or digital rubbery is the cost we may pay for using e-banking. AretoNyx: Atms always made me pay out so guess it is like that. Though I guess it depends what types of account and banking one has too in contract. The blackmailing make sure to report that to police where it is illegal.
