Mob Wives..... ~LoisLane~: Has anyone been watching this show? I thought I had put up a thread about it before.... I am enjoying this reality show about Mob Wives....Yes real live Mob Wives...Its pretty interesting (as far as reality goes) You know they have it all....The friendship the arguements the fights the making up....Some of these girls grew up in "The Life" and others married into it. What a crazy scene but I have always loved my "Wise Guys" and its interesting to see it from the women/daughters/wives of some of these tough guys from the day....Heres the run down..... Renee Graziano is the daughter of Anthony Graziano, current consigliere of the Bonanno crime family, and ex-wife of Hector "Junior" Pagan, Jr., who has been charged with various crimes with the Mafia. She describes herself as a "loud, foul-mouthed drama queen". The New York Post reports that her father, Anthony Graziano, will no longer speak with her or her sister Jennifer (the creator of Mob Wives) as a result of their appearances on the show.) Her son, A.J., has stated that he does not want to go into "the life", and wants to go to college and become an engineer. On December 1, 2011 it was reported that Hector has been working as an informant for the FBI, which might have an impact on season 2. Drita D'Avanzo works as a freelance make-up artist and is of Albanian ancestry. She is married to Lee D'Avanzo, who has been in and out of prison for such crimes as drug dealing and numerous bank robberies and dated Karen Gravano before marrying Drita. She is the mother of two.[10] She is now in the process of divorcing Lee D'Avanzo after finding out about his infidelity ~LoisLane~: Carla Facciolo's husband is Joseph Ferragamo, who is also incarcerated at the time of the airing of the series in 2011. Carla and Joseph have two children together. According to the show, Carla wants a divorce from Joseph as soon as he gets out of prison. According to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons website, Ferragamo's expected release date was 24 September 2011 and from episode 7 on, Carla prepared for and then dealt with her husband's return to Staten Island after being released from prison. Karen Gravano is the daughter of Sammy "The Bull" Gravano, a former underboss of the Gambino crime family, and federal informant. She is also the ex-girlfriend of Drita D'Avanzo's husband, Lee. While in the United States Federal Witness Protection Program, she was implicated in a drug ring and served three years of probation. She states, on the show, that she has returned to Staten Island to write an autobiographical memoir, ultimately titled In the Shadow of the Bull. Discussions about the book and its first chapter, which Gravano shares with castmates D'Avanzo and Graziano, caused controversy within the show and outside it as well. Ramona Rizzo (Season 2-present) is the granddaughter of former well-known mobster Benjamin “Lefty Guns” Ruggiero, who was played by Al Pacino in the movie Donnie Brasco. Ramona is a childhood friend of Karen Gravano, and as children they shared sleepovers and made their first communions together. They are so close they refer to themselves as cousins. Angela "Big Ang" Raiola (Season 2-present) is the niece of Salvatore "Sally Dogs" Lombardi, a deceased captain of the Genovese crime family. I watched 3 episodes of that show and it showed me that if the mob had power like years ago. The mobsters would've never allowed these ladies to soil the mob profile. The worst show on any mob life I've ever seen. These people have no clue. They just spend the money/ ~LoisLane~: Dude I cant lie man...I am all over this show. I love my Mob lols. Well these girls are connected to some pretty serious dudes and a few of them are not happy at all with this show. Most of them have disasociated themselves with the daughters/wives whatever. If you think about it tho, its a smart idea to make some money off a show like this....Most of these goombah's are in jail not making any money or just went into safe houses from jail. SO why not cash in on this show. They really dont talk about "Mob" things or business, I mean I dont think they know anything good lols..They just do their own thing you know....Fist fight get totally wasted call each other whores and bitches...You know, all the niceties that makes a show like this entertaining haha....Dont get me wrong now...You do know I know I am watching Tv for dummies.... I just find it entertaining. So just the 3 episodes eh....Jeez lols....Have you ever seen The Gotti's from back in the day. Its not on anymore but it was the same kind of thing except I gotta say...Victoria Gotti has got more class then these women in Mob Wives. ShannonMacri: I use to work at a mall here in CT and the Gotti grandsons were promoting their show and music there back in the day when they were doing their east coast mall tour. They were actually very polite to all the girls that showed up. Not stuck up at all. I liked that show. ~LoisLane~: I thought the Gotti boys were polite too...I mean boys will be boys you know but all and all they seemed pretty chill. I liked that show too. Totally sables... I wasnt even going to put this thread up hahaha.....I figured, Meh wtf not share the entertainment and see if I was the only schmuck who actually watched it......Im not feeling so bad anymore bahahaha. I think if they would listen to each other a little more the fists wouldnt fly so much....Love Drita and I like Carla too...But man cool down a little ladies... ~LoisLane~: I find Karen very aggressive Esp in season 2. She seems to have something to prove and her buddy Romona is a serious jerk off...She needs to stop telling everyone shes going to beat them up (How old are these people) and she needs to stop listening to gossip from all over. If she wants to know something, ask the person. Dont come off all bitchy and demanding like your more important then anyone else. Renee is a little wishy washy for me now... Still lovin Big Ang!! Shannonjm400: They're all losers. I'm from New York and all they are really... are just spoiled mobsters kids. They never got their hands dirty. They just brag. They don't have any pull. The show is all just what it is. A SHOW. Shannonjm400: I would sleep with one of them though. LOL Karen loos like she'd be a vixen in bed. I sleep with alot of females and know for a fact her sex would be great. lol
