Best Anime Ever Hyenablood: Naruto is good, some of the episodes arn't that great, but the storyline drags you in. Speed Graphers is wonderful, Basilisk, and Gundam seed all are ones to be watched, oh yeah, and Avartar the last airbender.  Metaphorguy: I used to watch Yu-gi-Oh! and Pokemon, but both weren't that excellent. There are a few anime movies I really love, but it's hard to really get into the shows when they are so similar.  katana master: Dragon ball , Naruto , and Yugi Oh are all great , but a for me I still think Bleach and Death note are the best  LiptonCambell: While I agree the Last Airbender is a great show....its not really anime.... I mean, it was written, produced, developed, ect ect in the west. Its like Megas XLR, or Teen Titans- it has an art style somewhat simular to asian art style- but its made in the west, not east. My roommate has exposed me to all sorts of animes, most of which make me cringe. Some of the good to decent ones I've seen are Claymore, FLCL, GoldenBoy, Full Metal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Sgt Frog, and Desert Punk. And for every good anime he shows me, I find a good 30 that are utter crap, or worse, 3 steps under softcore porn(involving 12 year olds)  hitsugaya252: The first anime i watched was dragon ballz. It is very nice but the time has overpowered them -first let earth blast and then we'll wish 4 it. Naruto is best- just lyk dballz but chakra limit. I like deathnote,beyblade, inazuma11,berserk.. Bleach is my most fav.  Daisuke_kigurou: To the person ranting on anime, your either picky, your western brain cannot respect or understand differences in culture, or your friend loves to watch dubbed anime. Watch it in Japanese. BTW I'd say to watch an anime series of the genre you like. Remember anime is just Japans version of drama. About those 30 anime, they may not be bad, it might be because your not a person that likes the genres they are from or your not a teenager. Let me also add that, if your friend loves to watch Harem/ Echi anime, even us Otaku and people from Japan dislike Harem/Echi. Also, there is no such thing as the " Best anime ever" it's all based on Opinion. Besides it's like debating whether with western (US) tv show is the best ever. Remember, just like drama from america (again) Japans drama has variety. Everybody has their own likes and dislikes in stuff. One person could love Bleach because, he/her is a fan of Fantasy/ Paranormal/ and dark story lines Another person could say they hate Bleach because they dislike those genres and they think that, a show like Ika Musume is the best considering, that they love comedy and are big fans of situational sitcoms. Anime I love: Rave Groove Adventure Ika Musme Digimon Flame Of Recca Ghost in The Shell Chocotto Sister Yu yu Hakusho Most of the Transformers anime Myself yourself Ghost Hound Ghost Hunt Ghost Stories  Staypuft: My favorite series was YuYuHakusho although no one I know likes that one  I still follow Bleach and Naruto but waaaaaaaay too many fillers, I just want to stab out my eyes sometimes.  Hardcore Souma: Seriously? No one likes Elfen Lied? I loooved that anime. Also.. Akira was a great anime movie.. over 20 years old, but eh, still epic as hell. I liked the old Dragonball and Sailor Moon of course, they were on back to back when I was a youngin.
