Battlestar Galactica rocks my face. (Page 2) Wireclub Admin: I must be broken, I love space but I can't stand Star Trek. I just can't. All those anthropomorphic lifeforms just don't sit well with me. And there is Picard.... Snitch®: if u payed any attention to Q u would know that the genes to bipeds was spread at the beginning of the Universe.... Entropy: WHHhhooaa whoa whoa. Rod, you want to be a nerd yet you hate on star trek and Jean Luc Picard? If you like science fiction, then you will like star trek. You just haven't given it a try. Shame on you. And, Patrick Stewart is a SWEET actor. He and McKellen were an epic pairing in XMEN, as well as their production of Hamlet. itsmarshab*itch: There will be a centric BSG movie coming this fall!! Saw the advert when watching the finale last night. The Plan. Wireclub Admin: Oh I can't stand Star Trek, sorry. It is too much of 'something happens, someone have a silly plan full of funny meaningless made-up words, they try the plan, it works, everyone is happy in the end, no one ever gets hurt'. BTW I don't like xmen wither. I am just into more realistic sci-fi. If it gets too far-fetched it just doesn't work for me. Even BSG was on the limits of suspension-of-disbelief IMO. Ghost in the Shell anyone? Goku1969: Battlestar Galactica was an awesome show. I was initially cynical of this show as I liked the 80s version but everything about it was really well done. PTBO52: Why where is Battlestar going? I've never watched it although I remember one of its leading men went to the soap Young/Restless? Snitch®: Data was alive...it was determined he was a life form during a Starfleet tribunal and Cpt PIcard was his defense.... otcclass: Snitch.... yes.. but in the real "Voyager" universe he was not considered real as of yet that is why he had such a hard time with the book he wrote. *lol* |
