SofiaPigliuchi: I am learning how to stop lightinthedark. It is a long journey. It has so many levels. Fears, parnoias, routines... Lots of changes but possible.
SofiaPigliuchi: It takes a lot of time to sort everything out. There are so many layers, types, I started small, the junk round the house, then broken things, random items like souvenirs people gave me, books I wasnt ever gonna read, movies same, papers..... as you get rid of more and more stuff it becomes easier. I am looking forwards to seeing empty shelves and have a more manageable life
SofiaPigliuchi: also putting things in the correct room. have boxes about for categorizing. books, papers, clothes left in weird places, and tidy up in gen while doing daily life. I spent months just putting things in general in the right area.
lightinthedark: I read alot, the common thought is the more you can uncluttered your life and environment. The less stress you will have in your life. I applied this to my hobby and it actually helped. I never realized how much stress I was putting upon myself.
SofiaPigliuchi: there is something called decisive exhaustion or something. it just wears you down. I am going the full monty on organising routines to free up head space to confront larger tasks. there are people coming in on monday to give me estimates in doing the electric...so weekend is all tidy all the time except for one dance class I decided to take to get outta the house... kinda a hermit. you figure being here all the time I would have things tidied up, but no...just too much stuff...
