srbiddy09: the flying squirrel: How can anyone take you seriously when you make the type of spelling and grammar mistakes that most second graders have already advanced beyond.

Seriously, every post that you make is tantamount to walking around in public while wearing a "Dunce Cap."

Cheers

FunkyBiscuits82
FunkyBiscuits82: From what I have heard about gender fluidity, in some cases it seems to be more about controlling others than living one's own life. For example: someone who says he is a woman one day and then later (a day, a year, whatever amount of time) is a man again, and repeats this cycle...all he seems to do is test others by wearing a dress to work, by using the ladies' room, by calling himself Stephanie when he was Bill last month, and then of course doing the opposite when he changes back to Bill. And when he finds someone who doesn't accept that he is a woman and a man whenever he wants to be, even if he prompted the person for their opinion, he will try to have the person punished in some way. That is only about control over others, not oneself.

In those instances, I don't think the person is gender fluid. Just a brat.

Scarcastic: I agree that in those circumstances they are just a brat.
Honestly even when a transgender or genderfluid person gets mad just because someone accidentally uses the wrong pronoun I feel like that's petty and uncalled for. Most people can't read minds and should be given the benefit of the doubt rather than labeling them as sexist just because they use the wrong pronoun. Even if they do it on purpose, it's best to just be the better person and not lash out at them for it, maybe they are just ignorant, and being rude to them about it certainly won't help them change for the better, it'll only make their feelings all the more negative. I find that kindness generally helps people be more understanding than anything.

xylance: No one gives a f**k about who/how you feel on the in or outside. No one gives you a second thought because we all got our own shit to deal with. So all you gender benders need to wind your whiney little necks in and understand the world doesn't revolve around YOU.

Scarcastic: Give me an example of where I've been whiney once in this entire thread and maybe I'll be willing to consider your advice. So far the only person I see whining here right now is you xylance.

xylance: Look I'm really sick of hearing about transgender
and gender morons who think we should all be constantly giving them a second thought. I tend to use people's names when I'm referring to them. The only time I've ever used pronouns such as him/her is when the person isn't around. In which case why should they ever care?

SpunksNjunk: There are billions of people but you are the only you which makes you unique. You will have certain likes and dislikes, mannerisms, personality and tastes which vary from person to person and its best to not let anyone define you except yourself. Gender fluid to me for a male means an androgynous person with connotations of bisexual attraction. To me they are the same as a trans gendered person who didn't go forward with full transformation.

Geek In Pink: I am a trans myself (FTM) so i can relate on a downlow basis slightly and my best friend is genderfluid i have a good understanding about it all, they vent to me alot of the time as i try to confort and be there for them as much as i can and so forth in our own words, being genderfluid is like riding waves at the beach. It’s wonderful when you can roll with it and ride it. It’s an awful choking, out of control, I can’t breathe sensation when the wave dumps you. Fluid is very evocative of what it actually feels like.

flappes_flappy_ears: @angry beaver - he's trans? That's cool. Tbh I think I am trans now. My mother doesn't know yet. She says things like: "oh it's that boy who thinks he's a girl" and things like that if she hears about someone, which I personally think is a very dated and offensive thing to say. Idk how I'm going to tell her. But your son is definitely relevant. Don't listen to the haters.

@geek in pink - I am mtf. It felt a lot like that about a year ago, when I was questioning. I blame my parents, as they both have made negative comments over the years
