How could I improve myself? (Page 4)
e I i: nah, Rom 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
e I i: other way around produces self righteousness, because only God is good and therefore to truly rid oneself of evil, one must first be buddies with God
bbotkin1958: Yes, I believe you are correct. Romans 10:9 and/or Mark 16:16 would indeed have to be the 1st place to start.
Notice how Romans 10:9 reads... "will be saved"? And in Mark 16:16... "shall be saved"? This means that one isn't saved just yet. One must "follow thru" and DO God's will... James 1:21-22.
Seems that we understand one another here. Rare thing to find... No?
bbotkin1958: It's all about improving oneself spiritually. Fitness is always good but is it good enough?
bbotkin1958: When I was your age I thought so as well. As life unfolds and shit happens, then what I'm saying here will begin to fall in place.
Purplehue: Do something Random something meaningful with passion or just because suprise someone anyone suprise yourself who knows you may grow a little more and decied you like something that you never tried before.
pawleys16: Love yourself first ... know that you are starting this journey as a beautiful woman already. Pictures say that you exercise so you have that going for you. To be a perfect person outside ... work on your core. The only piece missing. Calories/carbs should be focus to help reduce it and then know ... you are perfect already outside in my eyes. We can talk anytime about what is spinning around in that beautiful head.
THEJen: After every project, every week, every meaningful interaction, I try to ask myself four simple questions:
1. What happened?
2. What went well?
3. What went badly?
4 What will I do differently next time?
It works well for me.
pawleys16: There are two cores: first the core of your mind ... you have to know and understand that no one is perfect but in the pursuit for improvement you have to love yourself at the core (center) to start. You have to make all changes because you want to ... not because anyone’s view of you. The second physical core is the stomach area ... where you would develop a “six pack”. That would be my focus on physical improvement.
