the attack to the character is the static state of a character flaw- i.e chronic mental illness, it is to say, you have tenancy to be delusional, so, your prolly delusional about this one too the reason the law requires that ones criminal history not be allowed as evidence of a subsequent crime, is because a pattern of crimes presents an attack to the character- as prosecuting attourneys would use the past criminal history to damage the accussd's overall credibility and bias the entire jury-, instead of having to prove that it could ONLY have been him, who performed the said crime, since the burden of proof is on the state.
