(Page 2) lilo92: sorry i dont mean to be pessimistic but life is life..and maybe there isnt an afterlife..there isnt much proof of it scientifically or spiritually there are lots of other beliefs that prove it..but all are just too controversial..life may end when we die ..and we may not have heaven or earth..or thinngs othher religion believes in..but lets say theres heaven n hell..n lets say one goes to heaven..and what should it be like?noone knows for sure...so mabye not or mabye ...just maybe there is life after death ..what an absurd delusion but a happy hope... ♥♥♥♥KittyCat♥♥♥♥: I like th quote about life being like an ice cream - you have to get it while you can!! Life is full of ups and downs I feel, sometimes because of obvious factors and soetimes you are up and down and don't know the reasons why. I think if you are honest with yourself then you can make it work whatever happens. Sometimes you feel down and there doesn't seem to be a way out. I find little things eventually make a difference - making sure I am eating well and doing small things like reading a good book or watching favourite tv can eventually bring me round. You have to give yourself time to heal - you can't always just snap out of it. Then when you are up enjoy it to the max you can. That way you are keeping yourself on an even keel. DarkEcoFreak: Homeostasis, Organisation, Metabloism, Growth, Adaption, Reproduction. Sorry to spoil the fun. 77Harmony77: Remember you were born to live. Don't live because you were born! Don't go the way life takes you. Take life the way you go! cfrandsen: There is such a grand purpose to this life! We lived before this life for countless years, and we will live after this life for eternity, this life is a grain of sand on a beach, so short we can't even comprehend it. But this life is so very important, "what we do in this life echoes in eternity," or in other words the choices we make here will determine the quality of our eternal life. Check out Alma 34:32, and Alma 40:11-14 (Book of Mormon) Fred: Jeeeeezzz, you lot, GET A LIFE! You wake up in the morning, you do what you know needs to be done, you squeeze in what you want to be done, and deal with the negatives the day delivers, and during all that, you SHOULD be looking for the things that make you smile, or even laugh, and wrap yourself in THEM as you go to sleep, and then do it all over again the next day, ad infinatum, THAT'S life, so what else can you do, what's the alternative, why moan about it? Lori: Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it. TheAdornedOne: I love life ( imagine that! ). But it's depressing that human beings have too many societal rules and expectations that inhibit helping each other out. angel: Life is so cool, the best thing ever, wish I was immortal to enjoy it for ever (especially with my husband) <3 MaryJaneLight: Life is the consequence of being born. cricumstance does not nulify life unless it ends in death. Therefore circumstance in relation to life is irrelevant. Circumstances happen. Life just is. | Self-Improvement Chat Room Similar Conversations |
