And if we are special, how then can we deny a creator? Even when I still thought we lived on a globe I still believe God created it. But there are millions who do not because they’ve bought into godless theories like the Big Bang and evolution. Proving the earth isn’t a globe completely destroys both of those theories. Perhaps for many it gives life more meaning than they thought it had when they believed they came from nothing and are just the result of an accidental explosion. Admittedly I have not personally met anyone myself who has experienced this .. but I’ve heard of atheists and agnostics becoming believers after initially ridiculing ‘flat earth’. In trying to disprove it, they actually found that it had the best arguments and the most logic. It also supports what we see and sense. Being told we live on a ball that is spinning on its axis and travelling at astronomical speeds through space, but not being able feel any of this movement, is them telling us to ignore our senses. At least with something like the flat earth you can point to flat horizons and observe the natural characteristics of water (i.e. IT REMAINS in MOTION until it FINDS its LEVEL). Time-lapse photography is something we can all try too and it appears to show that it is the sun (and stars) that move and not the earth we are standing on - especially when observing sun rise and sun sets and star trails. If you can expose the globe as a lie you also expose organisations like NASA and everything they represent. And then maybe the billions of dollars they receive in funding every year could be spent on helping the suffering and the feeding starving people instead. Also the long standing fear tactics used in movies and the news like asteroids hitting and destroying the earth can be laughed off too.
