The data show that sunspots have a 22 year cycle.
Global temperatures don't. THEREFORE sunspot are NOT as you claim, the major driver for climate change.
Odd though, that sunspots we're in the decline to a minimum 11yrs ago, and that damn global temp just kept on risin'.

The global temperature data do NOT show a 22 year cycle at all, they simply don't. Its just not there.

Show, with defensible analysis, that there IS a 22 year periodicity in global temps.

For reference, this kind of signal analysis is a 2nd year mathematics question.
My money is that the VERY BEST you can must is pointingbto a graph, insist something is there, which it's not, then stomp and pout when people point out there actually is nothing.


So again, over to you - do the 2nd year maths and show there is periodicy at 22 years.

(P.s because you're incompetent, you have no idea how to do this, but any science uni student - including biology/ecology - knows how to do it. And anyhow, if you wanted to cheat I'm fine with that, there ARE pattern matching software online you can use - to fail miserably)

I analyse data by using critical thinking which is analysis by another name or analytical thought. Not a skill you're proficient in or even know what it is.
I can look at a data set and see patterns, immediately my mind starts exploring why and how those patterns could have occurred.
As a meteorologist I analysed plotted data on a chart every day tp produce the synoptic charts of surface weather features we're all familiar with. This analysis is done in the head, not by mathematical formulae but by observing the plotted data until it becomes second nature to visualise the finished result.
This is where the 4 dimensional vector calculus comes in. Not something I can do well on paper but I can do it instantly in my head.

It is obvious you don't understand what is required to become a meteorologist:
First an honours (1st class) or Masters degree in physics, mine is honours in geophysics with a minor in biology/ ecology.
2nd is a post grad diploma in meteorology, few universities can offer this since it is such a high level qualification there is a shortage of suitable academic staff available.
3rd is a residential study course, basically on the job training for another year or 2 depending which aspect of met you want to do.
I chose biometeorology; forecasting how changing weather patterns would affect native flora and fauna. also a sideline in long term drought prediction for agriculture.
I preferred to carry out the technical side of research, developing instrumentation and methodology which at one stage even took me to Antarctica to study katabatic wind patterns.

So yeah, you're probably correct, I am a lunatic, all that study just for a job. I could've studied medicine and qualified earlier and earned a much higher salary. Or law and become a millionaire, I was accepted for both schools on the basis of my BSc results, but chose Met because I'm so interested in atmospherics. I love how weather features ignore politics, crossing borders with impunity to kick the shit out of neighbouring countries the same as they do to you. There is complete cooperation between various weather services, no secrets. I like that.
