Sir Loin
Sir Loin: 88 unfortunately it takes more than just CO2 to feed plants, it's useless to them without sunlight. Many other nutrients are needed too.

Sir Loin: NZ has already introduced carbon credits trading which is making a few elite even wealthier while feeding runaway inflation

Sir Loin
Sir Loin: No, I had to dig deep to find the money trail. 80% of credits are owned by trading banks, I doubt they'd be interested in owning land, that would involve work rather than just sitting at a desk.

GailNoLastName: Thought I would mention that the Earths orbit around the sun is a bit eccentric, we are farther from the sun now in our summer and closer in our winter for the Norther Hemisphere. The southern hemisphere is facing the opposite situation, This may be one reason its so cold in South America right now.

Sir Loin
Sir Loin: Perfectly reasonable assumption Gail given that this will affect solar radiation intensity which is virtually the sole control of climate change. CO2 won't do it

MallyDaKattniss2: happensnow88 Same here at 47° north latitude in WA. July was mostly cool, overcast and a couple days of rain. Rain is good though, the forests need the water👍

bonzono: "Bozo, are you really as dense as you act or is it just pretend for your troll games?
Of course temp precedes CO2 every time. Even the data you provide show that.
Nowhere has it been proven otherwise"

Yet again, loin shows he's unable to read a graph, or even synthesise data.
Here it is again, for those who'd like a refresher on loin's incompetence.

https://www.carbonbrief.org/explainer-how-the-rise-and-fall-of-co2-levels-influenced-the-ice-ages

See that blue line in that link? That's the CO2
See the red line? That's the temperature.

In any upward change in direction, the blue line ALWAYS precedes the red line.

It's funny, all you do is stomp your foot and pout. waaa, u rong.

welp, soz kid, the data proves you wrong.

yet again.

bonzono: funfact,
most of plimer's income comes from his books where he spreads misinformation about climate change.

He's the guy who thinks loin supports child slavery - because they use a phone.
This is truly the level of intelligence and competence we expect from conspiracy lunatics and denialists.

Unsurprisingly, loin agrees with that unhinged and unqualified nutjob.

This is the reason we have peer review...
....and it's the reason people with mental issues hate peer review.
loin, for example.

Sir Loin: Plimers a professor at Melbourne University but of course Bozo knows better than him. Clauser is a Nobel prize winner and expert in climate change but Bozo knows better than him too. Dave Wratt was head of IPCC and lead scientist for the Antarctic ice core project when he advised me temp precedes CO2 every time but Bozo knows better

bonzono: Plimers is a geologist, not a climate scientist.

He also makes money by pushing the anti-science, anti-climate, rightwing conspiracy line.

and, of course, he also thinks that you, loin, support child slavery.
... so you tell me, do you think you support child slavery?

..or maybe you know better than plimer?

you know you're in a bad way when youre turning to conspiracy lunatics to try to give your claim some leverage.

still exactly zero from you on any of your claims loin - exactly as expected. You're a complete fraud.

Sir Loin: Coltan ore is required to produce the alloys needed in modern cellphones and laptops. A lot is mined in DRC by children but this ore is not able to be sold on the open market. There are other sources. China, USA and Tanzania are some

bonzono: Geology is not climate science. you cannot understand the greenhouse effect from geology.
you cannot understand radiative transfer from geology, you cannot understand atmospheric physics from geology.
the only thing plimer can say is comment on the past, not the present - and he doesn't even talk about his geology, his books are packed with comments on the present.

okay, then you agree with plimer that you support child slavery.
