Generally the warming scenarios have meant desert for the Southwest. But, weather patterns are becoming more and more unpredictable as the Jet stream wanders even more erratically every year. I recall looking at Jet stream patterns in the 40's and 50's they were straight across the country, moved a little north and South per the season, once it even split in the 80's, but now it dives straight south then swings straight north carrying all sorts of storms along with it. kittybobo34: Air pollution is another varying factor, from factories and volcano's.
