Who gets vaccines? (Page 4)
AretoNyx: Already had many. Medicine can save lives, but counterfeit and fake stuff such as homeopathy ...or drinking MMS bleach or pee is not a cure all ever. Some anti vaxxers are very into drinking or doing odd things even though they say they are against things by doctors. Guess some prefer imaginations of what they want. Go figure. Whatever makes them happy to do to themself.
AretoNyx: I get it how some would want to fight ad hom it out but please no name calling. Also better to just say if one has got the vaccine or not once...and let it go with trolls seeking attention? Trying for on topic please.
jak1735: Right no need to call people names getting the vaccine is a personal choice and I choose not to get the vaccine
AretoNyx: Not the place for reports and feels about anything other than if you personally take one. Not adverts if one is to take it or not. Thanks.

AretoNyx: There is more than covid vaccine but people think I only mean that one ( s). I mean all vaccines.
Also if one has already stated if they are getting a vaccine or not please no spam. I may delete spammy posts repeating what was already stated previously and has nothing new to add. Arguing over vaccines gets deleted and if one wants to do such they can make their own post dedicated to opinions of such things.
Maybe in the future this post will have that sort of drama of repetitive beliefs and such , but besides the facts of reality on such a topic this thread is not meant to trash any side. Facts are facts , and I understand for some beliefs matter more. Though not what this is about here. Just please post once if one is interested in getting any available vaccines for anything personally, and in one post not advertise what other people should/ should not do.
Have a good day everyone.

theHating: I get a vaccines because my very good daddy boyfriend trumpy trump, real american, got a vaccines and vaccines make America a happy great
Ravens Flight: Lost a longtime friend suddenly after he got the vaccine. I have no way of knowing if his unexpected and unexplainable death was related to the vaccine or not, maybe it was, or maybe it was just an unfortunate freak coincidence as it was recorded on his death certificate, but either way you can't blame me for wondering, he was fine before that...
I also know someone who lost her husband to the virus.
Having said that, the thing that made me decide against getting the vaccine was when it became more of a political choice and became more focused on social and political alignment than on health and well-being for everyone. I don't care which party does it, I hate both political parties, your health and well being shouldn't be dependent on your political alignment. I don't take my dog to a plumber if he's sick, I don't call a psychiatrist to tell me how many cups of flour to use in a red velvet cake. Likewise, I don't need politicians telling me which medicines to take for a virus, and I don't need the CDC telling me how to vote. Healthcare, science, and politics shouldn't become so entwined to the point that they are all just politics now that automatically align into polar-opposite competitions for power and money and burying all the normal people who just want true information and facts and don't really care about the soap-opera like sport of political competition. When the CDC decided to make an open display of endorsement of a political candidate for the first time in history, they essentially chose to align themselves, for or opposed to, the people depending on political alignment. They became a political agency. A vaccine is either safe or it isn't, we shouldn't have to slosh through an endless barrage of obviously biased politically-connected sources all stretching, skewing, and distorting facts to fit two purposefully opposing-to-the-maximum narratives, simply to find out how we can stay healthy. At this point, what do you think would change if the vaccine was proven to be a miracle cure-all? Politicians would lie and argue over which of them gets all the credit for inventing it, (nevermind any real doctors involved, who needs those anyway when you can just replace them with politicians!), then they would go on to demonise and mock people for distrusting the politically-endorsed vaccine, and fight over who should be blamed for that. In contrast, what would happen if people suddenly started getting delayed reactions from the vaccine and dying by the hundreds of thousands? Again, probably not much new. More finger pointing and blaming, lots of trying to sweep stuff under the rug and denying. In the meantime the companies that produce the vaccine would probably just continue trying to sell it for as long as they could get away with knowing the risks involved as they've done with so many other medications and such. 10 years later it would all end up just another- "I am a non-attorney paid spokesperson. If you or a loved one died or almost died after taking x brand of covid vaccine, you may be entitled to part a settlement..." adverts running on television to ignore while we are waiting for our favorite bakery competition programme to come back on television.
I'm sorry, but the more politicians, rich celebrities, powerful wealthy people and companies etc who become entwined just to tell me what political ideology I should have, as well as that I should take this vaccine, the more sure I become in choosing NOT to get the creepy thing. It's not just a matter of illogical wild fears of the imagined and the unknown, it is one of taking a stand against untrustworthy politicised healthcare in general, where our healthcare system becomes morphed into just another branch of the deceitful power-grabbing game of political power chess, something that will assuredly be used by both parties if it is successful. Regardless of which party the CDC aligns itself with, maybe next year they will flip and endorse a Republican instead... can you even trust that they wouldn't lie about health information anymore if it would somehow benefit whatever corrupt politicians they openly endorse?
I used to hate all the conspiracy theory nuts who would be afraid to take a prescription because they didn't trust the healthcare system and "doctors just want money and they don't care about killing off their patients blah blah blah"
If the CDC suddenly changed and endorsed Trump democrats would be panicking and lining up for miles at clinics to see if they can get the vaccines sucked the hell back out of their bodies somehow, and I wouldn't blame them a bit for feeling that way. I don't understand why so many can't wrap their heads around why Republicans are feeling distrustful under the same but reversed circumstances. Also all the bullying, and "grandma killer" insults etc unvaccinated people get from vaccinated people... Do they really think that's behavior which people are going to be open to taking seriously or associating with? It makes people who are vaccinated look bad and makes people who aren't vaccinated all the more determined to remain so. Nobody seems to care about what it would be like if the shoe was on the other foot, they just want any excuse to try to insult others. If you really care about people's health you won't deliver it with words of poison, and that goes to everyone who gets nasty towards other people about this.
Having gotten all that off my chest, It's not an easy choice for everyone and we all need to make it for ourselves. I hope everyone will make the choice which is best for them, and my wish for everybody regardless of their political alignment or their stance on the vaccine is good health, for themselves and for all their loved ones. For the sake of everyone who chooses to get vaccinated, I hope that the vaccine is completely safe, I want it to be safe for you guys more than I want to be "right" for not getting it myself. I also wish good health to anyone who chooses not to get the vaccine like me. I would hope these are wishes that we can all agree on and share for each other.
We will all end up in the ground someday, the least we can do is treat each other with respect while we are struggling the best we know how to get through this confusing existence we all have been tossed into.
Ravens Flight: Btw, here's a thing. Agree or disagree where you want, it's just interesting viewing the news from many months ago. In a way it's an ironic stark contrast from that long ago, but I feel like he really did a good job of predicting how the division of this topic would turn out and why.
