A curious point about the world before The Great Flood may have been the sky. One of the most breath taking views you can have is driving across the Mid West of the U.S. and seeing that vast panorama of open sky stretched out over sweeping plains. Well if you went back to before the Flood, you would be lucky to see the sky due to the lush tropical forests that covered the mid west and virtually all of North America not under ice.
But according to some scientists, if you did get to see the sky it would look nothing like the sky we see today. There is speculated to have been huge amounts of water vapour in the Atmosphere, way more than today due to the vast jungle canopy. And the rain storms in places like Texas would have seen downpours way more heavy than anything we see today.
