Sometime ago someone described a theory of the Universe where we are as microscopic specks of dust compared to the " real " story of vast amounts of matter in an even bigger (or better ) imagined universe.

This gets my support and there are several published books with the maths and diagrams.

It is obvious from the posts and from what else is said that Blackholes are a social-political idea and have no scientific or even common sense reality.

The question that you are trying to get away from is what happens when light is made near a dark object which is mind-bogglingly big, so big and heavy that no normal particle as we know them cannot escape from it due to its immense amount of gravity or exists within its immense size.

In a free world such concepts exist and are obviously true.

Does the light travel at the same speed??

Or does it travel at the normal speed of light but in a different time??

bitemykayak: black holes were theorized in the 1920's, the first one was discovered in the 1940's and proven many time since. There is no known body, black holes included, that particles cannot escape from.

kittybobo34: That has been a puzzle to me too. A body so dense light can't escape and yet subatomic particles are ejected at the poles. Perhaps something to do with magnetism is driving that.

Evelyn99: Passige of time is always in a relationship with a observer. Time is intresting and can are taking the leading theorists into some thinking. First: it’s a funny paradox that time can slow down but how much is depending on you your motion, the speed of it and much more. How can this be?? Time and dimensions also are very connected. According to M teori in lack of a better name the universe has 10 space like dimensions. Let’s try to visualize some of them. A world with one of two dimensions are intellectually impossible to imagine. Let’s say you or me live in a book. We are flatlanders. We can only move back and forth using a dimension of lingth and higt. Now try to imagine the extremely limited view point we as flatlanders will see. It will be infinitely small and there are really now evolving time in this world. However the flatlander can move in two directions only. As we visualize more dementions later this notion is important. The flatlander can move farwad or backwards in time and that’s it. We humans are made as 3D beings so the 3rd dimension is probably the easiest for us to relate to as we live our entire life there. Dept. for that demention to be visible and available for us humans we need a demention of time.without time there will be no 3rd demention every time you look at the picture on your wall or just looking at your hands dept as a demention makes that possible. Time. Time is change. And it takes time for some photos to bonce of your hands and travel right into your ratina in your eye. Thats for everytjing wr ever se. When you one night look up and ser two stats that aper to be next to each other. Likely they are not you just reviving photos from both at the same time. Photons from one has perhaps travelled 30.000 years for so ending its jearny in your eye the other stars we thought was next to it maybe only has only photons that left 3 years ago. Without knowing you are looking back into the past simultaneously with huge time difference between. Remember time equals chance. A photon can’t change so where there is no chains there is no time. For the photon. Ok humans live in this 3rd demention and us humans can only experience time and events quantum frame by quantum frame. Guess that’s we call to live in the present moment. Let’s look at the flatlanders walking along on a side of a newspaper a two dimensional surfice. Let’s fold the news paper and now with out knowing the flatlanders in a instant can be in a complete different part of the newspaper ( or a ant) cientificly we call that concept a wormhole. The 3rd demotion happens because on or both of the first two demtions folds now you can like the ant suddenly arrive in little time at a complete different place in our universe. . Einstein said once that past present and future is nothing more than illusion. Our 5th demention is kinda like a long tube with a newborn you in one end and the decist you at the other. Humans can only observe this quantum frame by quantum frame. We are made like that. However it’s a proven fact now that antimatter is matter that travel back in time relativ to matter. It’s all around us we can detect it but we cannot go back in time. Time is like surfing your wave is your present time. The quiet ocean behind the wave is the past and the ocean a hed is the future. But it’s all there both. While surfing you just can’t see it.. so our 5th demention is limited to humans like the flatlanders view in there extremely limited view. But there is said that it’s in the 5th dimension a ziro chance for you to meet Michael Jackson again. To make a dimension you will need to draw a line from what you have that will increase perspective of dimensions. The 6th dimension is what they call the propobility dimension. A dimension that can have many different outcome this idea has now gained a lot of good feedback and it’s becoming a very strong factor in quantum physics. We call this dimension the propebilty space. Here chance action of others and choice matter for the outcome perhaps that everything is meant to be don’t have much substance anymore. A dimension of space with a unknown number of outcomes based on choice and so on. Over the last few years this dimension has been highly recognized. 8 and 9 basically but dimension mentioned in to a single point of undetermined size as there likely are a unknown number of other universes perhaps with different properties.

Evelyn99: Time need to take place for change to happen. If you watch the grass grow it takes time. Some not new but under looked important experiments have brought the idea of 3 dimensions of time much more serious. . The start of this was some study on a partical we called fermions. They come in a few different flavors they call it. Unlike some paricals this «spinns» diffrent spin sets out a different proberty. Or something. A funny fact with this little farmions is that they appear to change back and forth between different kinds of fermions. Different flavors as scientists call it. We believe they have no mass and we first agreed that they don’t travel at speed of light. Remember they charge. Change takes time at the speed of light there is no time therefore no chance. Particle accelerators both in Europe and Long Island with little profile did several experiments on this and god some very interesting results.infact they did at times. They use that term in places for marginal error. Some actually obeyed the speed limit. How can this be. Thats impossible. How can you arrive before you left? This happened some thinking happen and what is intresting with this is that they travel in different passing of time. One is into the future relative to its friend that is slightly into the past relative to the particle in the future.this brought into light the Grat idea that there is 3 dimensions of time. All relative to each other present. This gived new life into what we called the twinn paradox. Where two identical twins bob and allise who always has lived together within the same reference of time. Bob decides to take a flight in a spaceship for so return to his sister. Bobs ship gradually accelerate to about 80% if the speed of light relative to his more stationary sister from simple Lorents callcultoins bob will experience different units of time than Alice who is more stationary.. eventually bob had enough fun and start to slow down the speed and eventually be landing back at his original time frame he shred with his sister Alice. What would really happen the Lorenze transformation has not quite taken this event into its calculations. Alice now clearly older will say wow you arrived early!! Bob on the other hand will be stunned by how much older and fragile his twin sister has become and will apologize for being so late. This is for now just a thought experiment but the leading science and experiment done with fermions that can exist in the past present and future at the same time. Bob and Alice will live together but in there own mutual reference of time. In quantum physics it’s called a super position. Alice is actually in the future relative to bob and bob is in the past relative to Alice in there own time frame but can still communicate with each other thru this super possition that now are set up perpendicular to each other.

kittybobo34: A lot of this is still theory, especially the part about antimatter going backward in time. we have created antimatter in the lab, I don't recall any time related issues about it.
