Dust covers cars in southern Portugal.

This must be a more wide spread dusting as local orange dusts are ignored by the news or Theportugalnews is trying to make a point. Without proper analysis to identify the dust it is a guess where it came from.

ghostgeek: A large amount of Saharan dust was swept up into a low pressure system over north Africa on February 21, 2017. Thick dust cloud has already reached Spain and Portugal and is now moving east, toward Italy, Malta and the Balkans. The event is expected to last into early next week.

Areas particularly affected will be the Iberian Peninsula, Balearic Islands, southern France, Corsica, Sardinia, Italy, Malta, southwestern Balkans, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey.

Some dust may be deposited from the air without rainfall, but a significantly larger amount will be deposited with rainfall over the central Mediterranean and the Balkans on Friday and Saturday, February 23 and 24. Look for yellowish Saharan dust on surfaces of objects, such as cars, SWE said.

The was the 23rd of February if you believe it. You can see from the weather reports that the weather has not stayed the same for all that time so I think we can rule out the sahara.

And in anycase there were several sources of dust which meant that the type of dust had to be identified by skilled scientists--which of course no longer exist or are not funded in Portugal.

Phys Org article points out that during the Mini Ice Age and at other cold times there was also unbearable hot weather too.

https://phys.org/news/2017-04-sunspots-frost-fairs-rethinking-ice.html

While still going on about Global Warming the official world might now be willing to admit that geographical changes are going on as well as a Solar Minimum.

I remember during the early 1980s many of the Mini Ice Age effects were going on for short periods.

Long dry, hot or windless weather is a warning that it might stay cold too. Indeed when the wind blows it is not warm.

Often now people can be found together wearing shorts or warm winter coats depending just where they were coming from.

C4mp looks again at the blue skys across Europe.

In his video you can see the swirling winds that are leaving Europe in a beautiful state for spring. And also the cold winds blowing from the Americas.

In his video of the 9th he circles a small cloud over Poland which has often been reported before and years a go I flew over it to see what was the cause. It turned out to be caused by Berlin ( and is just a helpful flag waved by Poland.)

Ironically these windy conditions about the world, with Tropical storms and powerful vortexes could be caused by a lack of wind leaving highs and lows to stack up like railcars bumping against each other.

With more movement the changes in the seasons are less pronounced and less dramatic.

Easter is determined by the Moon and Spring Equinox and was only adopted by the Christians in 840.

Consulting or even mentioning the Moon in relation to religion was likely to result in the most unexpected results if you were talking to Christians.

It is fairly obvious that the ancients worked out the orbit of the Moon and Earth and how they impacted the weather.

It is a good guess that the tidal forces of the moon influence the Polar Vortex which has just flipped to its summer home.

" It is not celebrated on the same date every year, but instead on the first Sunday following the full moon after the Spring Equinox.

The day is commemorated in several ways, and most of these traditions have nothing to do with the meaning of the holiday – but instead relate to the pagan festivals of ancient Germany.

Children are typically given baskets filled with sweets, and eggs are decorated and hidden for children to find in the form of an Easter egg hunt." Grimsby Telegraph

There are a plethora of websites all saying how Easter is really a Christian festival, some with pleasant illustrations even, but there is no disguising the fact that they are trying to steal it from others....

Thewatchers report claims cold weather ( from the USA ) will blow across Europe in the next few days.

https://watchers.news/2017/04/10/models-suggest-unusually-significant-cold-outbreak-in-europe/

This seems to support the theory ( you read it here ) that the USA is heading in to a significant cold period.

However this has all happened before and doesn't often effect the farming in eastern Europe unless the cold air is lower. Except showing that they have had no influence on weather forecasting!

Serious fishing!

Leicester University finally publishes its research into the Great Cold Spot on Jupiter in relation to aurora.

Spookerly timed to coincide with the cold draft at the end of the Polar Vortex this paper from the University that warned of a Mini Ice Age superficially claims a link between the electronic aurora and cooling.

This was found via SO who has invested a lot into its ideas around The Electronic Universe.

https://www2.le.ac.uk/offices/press/press-releases/2017/april/2018cold2019-great-spot-discovered-on-jupiter

I am very sceptical and point to the USAs refusal to go back and set right its refusal to allow evidence about for example polar ice caps on Mars as a source of the concepts involved in this new paper.

Leicester has provided several links for people to download the research paper to study at home.

"Cold April morning for parts of NSW

Jacobus Cronje, Saturday April 15, 2017 - 14:00 AEST

A number of locations in New South Wales had their coldest April morning in several years, including parts of Sydney.

Places like Armidale, Mudgee, Lithgow and Scone had their coldest morning for the month since 28 April 2015.

Residents of Thredbo Village had their seventh below-zero minimum temperature for this month and coldest April morning since 29 April 2015, dropping to a wintry -3 degrees.

Horsley park in Sydney cooled to nine degrees in the early hours of the morning, the coldest April day since 2014.

Cooling overnight and into early morning in recent days can be attributed to the clear skies seen across the state just before sunrise, brought on by the ridge of high pressure currently situated over much of the southeastern parts of the country."

But is it the start of a Mini Ice Age or something else??

With weather charts predicting a cold draft across Europe and then it happens its not hard to see that predictions of a Mini Ice Age due to the solar quiet also have validity.

But is that the right Conclusion at this time???

I don't think it is. And there are several clues to help find the right answer.

For One the predictions of a colder draft were exaggerated with claims of freezing conditions. in the event only St Petersburg was below freezing.

For Two it is not unknown for England to have snow in March and April. So the weather is mild for this time of year.

For Three the forecast excluded other known weather phenomenon such as a cold draft like that also brings in far warmer weather from the south.

The right Conclusion seems to be that the weather behaved just at it does and those talking about it were trying to obscure our understanding and reasoning.

TheWatchers claim auroras were seen as far south as Colorado and NASA said an unexpected geomagnetic storm had started.

Obviously auroras are the next big thing with the official watchers staking lots on them. They make nice bright pictures and are known science. Anyone could watch them if they went to the freezing cold parts but no one bothers to.

But TheWatchers goes on to say Europe is suffering freezing conditions and claims Austria had feet of snow!

Obviously it didn't as you can see for yourself on any weather forecast or sat viewer.

Unless they meant on top of the mountains where there might be snow but no surprises there.

We know the cold air from the USA blows across Europe and brings the cold from the north, the Arctic even,

Auroras have been studied in the past and quantified but the information is not intuitively described and difficult to understand at a glance.

Other people have also noticed that there are reactions amongst humans to aurora which suggest the supernatural and the occult and often inspired stories and movies.

It seems the US inspired websites are afraid changes caused by the aurora will reveal something amongst the people.

https://watchers.news/2017/04/25/how-little-ice-age-displaced-the-tropical-rain-belt/

"The ETH researcher and her colleagues have now managed to demonstrate how the tropical weather system shifted a good way south between 1450 and 1850, a period known as the Little Ice Age. “This migration is linked to the lower global temperatures during this time,” explains Lechleitner. While TheWatchers and Adapt 2030 have been claiming freezing weather the search was on for what could dig them out of the hole I guess.
